Why bother using a post if you are going to compromise the integrity by notching it as you did? Aesthetically it looks good, but if somebody leans a significant force on that post it is going to split vertically.
I might have missed it, but what release powder did you use (and color) and did the concrete have any pigment mixed in or color hardener added? I like the color it turned out a lot
Well done. Excellent work. I am about to make stepping stones for our garden and want to give them some texture/pattern. You have really help me to decide on what I could do. Thank You 👍🏻 😊
interesting, I took down a wall and the hardwood in my kitchen is pine while the floor in the dining room (now just an open room) is oak. I would love to lace in to patch between them, however, even though the boards are in the same plane, they are not aligned at all, so I'm thinking I'd have to take up the wood in the kitchen and buy (easy to do) oak flooring to replace the kitchen floor OR, just cut both perpendicular and fill in the gap that way. Any advice?
Quest without using cement rebar/remesh chairs when you push down with the shovel you just pust down the wire mesh now you have to repull up the wire? Or you not going all the way down with shovel? I think getting the cement chairs would needed important for Ned to big jobs or iam wrong and not needed
Wait, they sell mixer blade that attached to drill or inpack drivers. When I install a Final fence on the post I needed cement I use they mixer that around $12 mixed up the cement with easy like butter
