Megapark probably won't be until after the expansion scenarios are complete. I'd like to get viewer feedback for that one on what they'd like to see on it so if there's anything you'd like to see me build in Megapark let me know.
I am just wrapping this up this video and I love your approach. I have to admit I love watching your theming and decorating. Well done. And I like that you didn’t remove the original rides.
I think you nailed this one, especially because none of the original rides were removed! Of course, like you discussed, there's multiple strategies to these kind of scenarios. I think keeping the rides and building around them adds much charm to the park!
Yea honestly I didn't give the rides credit where it's due and I should have, but they are some pretty slick coaster designs and overall compliment everything very nicely.
Forest Frontiers can be any kind of park no matter how small or big! My Forest Frontiers located North of Texas is a old century park with older style rides from the 1900s to the 1950s as it started in 1899 I say!
Glad you like it! By far one of the most challenging aspects of this build was to try to make the various areas interesting and not just a "bunch of brown stuff".
Very nice as I would visit your Bumbly Beach located anywhere! My sister and I's Bumbly Beach is expanded all around between houses and such, And is like Indiana Beach and Blackpool Pleasure Beach!
Out of all the years I've played this game I've never thought of making a bridge like that. Very realistic looking. My usual "bridges" are the footpath in the air connecting one hill to another. And it looks very out of place lol
The snaking footpaths in the air is a huge pet peeve of mine in RCT, with these builds Ive deliberately set out to try to keep the pathing as grounded as is possible. On the flip side I think really well placed bridges can do a lot to sell the scene as well.
@@aharontyson6958 With the straight ones I find as long as you have decent anchor points so that its actually connecting two areas and select proper supports they can look ok. Supports makes the big difference and behave differently with their interactions. IE: A path with wooden support mesh will simply omit the supports if placed on top of another path, where as the types with actual support columns may draw alternative versions (see Trinity Islands for an example of this effect). The columns also look a lot cleaner than the wooden mesh on larger bridges.
The water slide was aggravating when I was growing up. I hate having to take out or edit the preexisting rides as it takes away from the parks intended scenario. This one of 2 scenarios i would edit. Well 3 if you count fiasco forest as that is the objective lol. But this water slide is annoying, lol. The other scenario I edited was crumbly woods with the dueling wooden coaster. What i do tho is an exact copy. Since it's mobius I'd delete sections at a time and use a new coaster to copy it exactly. Then it would be new and could charge the worth of the ride. I also call it woodchip reborn lol
Yup I was having to check on it like every 10 minutes during play just to see if the boats were piling up. I get why Chris Sawyer put rides like this in but yea I agree I'm not a fan of the fixer upper rides especially this one
@@arhumahmed441 Both - and to also facilitate multiple machines, i explain the connectivity of the them in the video - also why logistically it doesnt work due to the connections.
I don't do overhauls very often so not much extra, by the time im done with gear its usually dead. Or was destroyed. IE: the Hyper X cloud stinger box i have under my monitor.. cat ate the wire on those.
I know it will be a long way away, but were you planning to do loopy landscapes or corkscrew follies? I would love to see them as pretty much no one does them
With a short minimum time it can if the dingies end up on the same lift, however i have it set to a timespan that ensures theyre always on separate lifts. It requires a rare case of a back to back breakdown which would launch 3 dingies in close proximity to cause a backup on the lift hill. As the slide has no mid slide lift once they are clear of the lift hill there is no risk of a backup.
@Innadiated makes sense and I've done similar and seemingly fool proof designs and it still happens lol. I love how you do your best to leave as much of your parks with its original rides/ and scenery. I like to do the same with some exceptions. I delete almost all the foot paths when there's a lot like this one, I move the flat rides out of the way at bumbly beach, but the big one is a major redesign of the slide in aqua park.
I assume you mean at the time of build as by the time I recorded the outro guests had distributed and filled the Egyptian Sun's queue. As for stats, it's not something I incorporated into the presentation of this series, following the series I will do a summary video going over all coasters and their stats and for rct2 I will incorporate this into the series.
@@Innadiated yeah i commented then later in the video guests continuously queuing up! Your coasters are also interesting though, would love to see more of that work as well!
I love the style and RCT1 playthru which is such a different vibe from the openrct folks. Relaxing Don’t feel like you have to track the entire time-- Timelapse w music is great too.
A boat hire as transport is absolutely brilliant, never realised it could have multiple stations 😁 Gives somewhat of a Venice vibe with the gondolas. Love this idea
I'm honestly surprised you've never tried it! Ive used it in a few maps now: Leafy Lake, Diamond Heights, Evergreen Gardens, Bumbly Beach, Trinity Islands all have one.
Nice how you filled up all available land and clearly made two themed areas! I took the same approach for this scenario as you explain from 7:18 😄 Funny how the short time-frame levels can take much more time than the longer ones that way
It's definitely one of the more challenging in the game with the rate of depreciation and how much you have to build to even meet the goal in just 2 years. Easy for a few early mistakes or time wasters to cause you to fail the goal. Yup I quite liked yours was very impressive how you themed out the whole thing in the timeframe.
Yes will be fixed in the next one, i had never done a real time one before now I have good measurements for audio. Was either scrap it and the park or publish as is. I felt keeping with the "first time playing" was more important but definitely will be fixed next time.
not my favorite theme park management game but its fun to build your own custom rides and test/ watch how they run. just another was to harass your guests lol
Incredible stuff!😍😍 I can never build anything this legendary on RCT Classic or openrct2 since I got other parks to play, I can’t wait to see more especially with the expansion packs
All good, catch ya the next one. Trinity Islands up next I'm about halfway done. I think you'll like it, as far as I've seen it's unlike any existing builds on YT.
love the corkscrew and the train. i feel like too many youtubers dont make the coasters blend into the ground and they look really good blended with the groung. the train is cool and how it cuts through the ground
