Question from a Uk Citizen :) Could the President be elected twice (2 full terms) then run with a new President as their Vice President could they then "Become" president by whichever means? (I hope that's understandable)
I have mine tomorrow man im not nervous ima just be honest and tell them idk wtf im doing here im just here because i have too because if i don't i get fined or jail
I got a letter summoning me for next month. When you went, was it like described in this video? I’m not looking forward to it because A- I’m missing work B- I’m missing 2 college classes. C-I don’t really feel morally right doing this. I never had to do this before. I never took any school lessons while growing up or college classes regarding law or criminal justice. I’m not even majoring in that, so it just don’t feel right for me.
@@Matty0289 you can probably be excused if your currently attending college during the summoning there's like 200 people in a room they go over the letter you got and will tell you if you qualify or not also if your attending college at least in Texas they will excuse you and u can just leave
Voters should be able to vote NO or Yes on pay for Congressmen, not the Congressmen themselves . Let us determine their pay. Let us pay them what they are really worth.
This is definitely good advice, always seek the advice of your attorney. Decades ago I had a license to sell real estate in Pennsylvania and I quickly found out if there is a hand money dispute or as this gentleman called it a deposit, the dispute needs to be settled before the house can ethically be put back on the market because there's going to be a cloud hanging over the transaction and that probably is the fastest way to get your hand money back. Sellers want to sell and real estate agents want to show people houses that they can easily sell them not ones that have a dispute over hand money/deposits. If there is an issue regarding a property such as previously described almost no agent will want to show the property to their clients . Always consult your attorney they know all of the ways to get your money back.
So does “from” mean where they live full time? Or where they were born? Or what if they live half the year in Florida and half the year in California? Do they have to own a home in that state? I watched the whole video and you mentioned it being where they inhabit, but this seems like there could be nuances. When people ask me where I am from I don’t really have a solid answer because technically I was born overseas due to my dad being in the US Air Force, but then I moved to California when I was 2, Indiana when I was 9, and then lived in Texas briefly and now Ohio for a year and a half. So hypothetically if I were to run for office “from” would be Ohio? What if I lived in Ohio sometimes but work remotely and live in other states too? I just want to know because I want to know if the DNC has any case against Kennedy. While he was born in Washington DC and has lived in various states including NY, where it sounds like he is from, him owning a house and living in California, even if only recently or parts of the year, that would be considered “from” there?
If no candidate wins 270 EC votes, the HR then "chooses" (as you note) from the top three candidates, and they vote by states, not individuals. So there are 50 votes. (DC doesn't vote as it is not a state). Each state gets only one vote, so its members must caucus and decide how to cast their ONE vote. If no one gets 26 votes, they vote again. And again as many times as necessary. Meanwhile the Senate chooses the VP from the top two VP candidates, and they do vote by individuals, so there are 100 votes, and 51 needed to win. They only vote once, and if they tie 50-50, the current VP then casts the tie-breaking vote. Obviously the thinly-populated rural states have enormous sway in this process, and are on an even keel with the states with huge populations. There are lots of very interesting scenarios possible!
THE ISSUE WITH THE LAWS IN THIS COUNTY IS THAT THE WAY THEY ARE WRITTEN IS TOO AMBIGUOUS AND OPEN TO TOO MANY INTERPRETATION OF WHAT THEY MEAN SO THAT ACTUALLY MAKES THEM LESS EFFECTIVE TOWARDS THE PURPOSE OF THEIR INTENTIONS A PRESIDENT THAT HAS BEEN ELECTED FOR TWO TERMS CAN NOT ACTIVITY RUN AGAIN BUT COULD BE WRITTEN INTO BALLOT BY A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBERS OF VOTERS AND THEN THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO BE THE PRESIDENT AGAIN BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED THAT SOMEONE WHO IS FOUND GUILTY OF ANY FELONIES RATHER STATE OR FEDERAL SHOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO BE ABLE TO HOLD THE OFFICE OR IF THEY INCITE OR TAKE PART IN ANY INSURRECTION AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION OF THE COUNTRY OR OF PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE FOREVER INELIGIBLE TO HOLD ANY OFFICE IN GOVERNMENT WITH ANY CITY STATE OR FEDERAL POSITION VOTE BLUE 💙💙💙 AND SURE UP OUR DEMOCRACY
Only Trump would be so corrupt as to attempt to commit such a monumental fraud on American society and its people. But him being on the ticket as veep would give the game away...we'd turn out to Vote Blue in our tens of millions, as if he were the top of the ticket, because he effectively would be.
If this law had been in effect in 1900 TR could only run once in 1904. He would not have had the ability to run in 1912. Truman didn't want to run in 52 he could have as this would have been an Ex post facto law (after the fact) for him.
Well then there is this You already have seen the seeds being sown for this in the arguments and the decision in the Colorado 14th amendment case. How the decision was "justified" on the fact that Congress had never passed any "implementing legislation" which according to them meant that that particular section was all but "moot' Well Congress never passed any of that all important implementing legislation for the 22nd amendment either, mainly because until this year no one ever thought that was ever needed.
So with this SCOTUS, if Donald Trump is elected in 2024, Donald Trump Jr. will run for President in 2028 pledging to step down after one day to allow his VP selection on his ticket ( Donald Sr. ) to become President, and then Jr. will run for President in 2032 pledging to step down after one day to allow his VP selection ( Donald Sr. ) to become President, and then in... All hail King Donald the 1st.
What you are saying is that Harris can run for President with Obama as her VP. If elected, Harris can step down and Obama can still serve as President for a third term.
person is code word for a civil (a-i, too far left, to left, or left demo c rat, liberal, no or not military, persons); all so, person can be use to ID a civil (left female) since Person is for civil (left) male; citizen and Citizen are to ID military; “civil or military” is establish in Amendment XIV Section 3 (ratified 9 July 1868);
Evidently the recent rulings from the SCOTUS makes most if not All of that amendment irrelevant. What does the constitution say about the supreme Court and how to get rid of their ass ? Just asking tucky style 🤪 heeheehee ✌️
So Kamala nominates Barrack as V.P. then steps aside once they "win" the election. He gets to have a fourth term? He's all but done with his third. I don't think this country can stand four more years of that guy.
