been loving the portal so far i use it a lot at home and my 30 min train ride to work i use my mobile hotspot for it. gets kinda laggy sometimes with mobile hotspot. i also have a wifi extender in my room where i have a ethernet cable connected to it to my ps5 so that also helps a lot with the quality of the stream.
For now, battery on 17.7 should be better. As iOS 18 gets updated, the battery life will improve. I would say the battery life is fine, but some people may be dissatisfied.
I like the orange if I go with the gold phone. Blue is best though, but it looks better with titanium color. What color phone I get will determine this!
I just preordered there full coverage case with the gold buttons and camera protector for my iPhone 16 pro This will be my first case by them at $79 bucks I hope it’s worth it.
Apple really screwed things up for case manufacturers that huge cutout for the camera button looks awful. No way out of it unless you go caseless such a shame and the bulkier the case the more indent you will feel sucks for case manufacturers
The case makers will need to incorporate a capacitive sapphire crystal button like Apple’s cases have, or similar technology. I would pay extra for it to eliminate the cutout. I hope they can source the necessary materials and start putting better cases out soon.
Apple didn’t screw the manufacturers. They did it themselves and it was a choice. They went the cheap route with just a cut out and still charging the high prices.

I'm very picky with cases and this is basically perfect for what i'm looking for. Got mine yesterday and I'm really digging it. Really glad I opted for the porcelain color as the silver camera bar pairs perfectly with the metal camera ring on the case.

this video has convinced me to go for the s23 ultra. i currently have the s9+ and i truly believe it is peak samsung. absolutely amazing. for some reason, even tho ive had it for long time and i use it for like 10 hours daily, i still have decent battery life, but now its time for an upgrade. i was planning to get s24 ultra and was just about to order it when I finally saw how a lot of people have graininess issues. i do not want to risk that. and also, i like how s23 ultra has a curve. one thing that stopped me getting s21,22 was exynos chip. the guaranteed snapdragon for s23 ultra is the reason i will be getting it over s24 ultra, even tho for price, s24 ultra is only £50 more than s23 ultra. i can not risk getting graininess issues, it will ruin a lot of enjoyment especially for me , a dark mode user, and the chance of getting a version that has a severe graininess, and other green line issues.
Looks like a great phone if I was to complain it's that massive camera bump slim it down with better software.. Not a huge fan of that bump for a phone built very well .. But it's still a solid phone. Only reason I got the fold 6 cause of software and I like boxy phones.. To each their own
Easy fix to watch videos in tent mode, just rotate the phone so the hinge is up. Spend that much money, try to find a fix, especially before posting this. Next, I have the Fold, wishing I could add the incremental zoom and pan that the Open has. There's plenty Samsung has to learn from others like OnePlus. Apple has even more to learn. Forget to say anything that the Open can charge in about 25 minutes?
