Al is good.. but Au is where it's at.. you should try getting out in them creeks and doing some prospecting.. and Glad to see ya'll weathered the storms yesterday..
I haven't had a problem with most wire -- but if it has too much plastic wrapping it can jam... so the best thing to do with the thicker wire is to do it in small sections
Interesting video.. the thought just occurred to me that most people have never nor will ever witness the last trip of a vehicle.. good stuff. And question, do they make you take the gas tanks out like they do here?
Not a bad haul.. It always pays to separate them motors instead of dumping with regular unclean sheet. I never did get why someone would do that but I see all kinds of motors in the pile everytime I go to the yard.
It's $1. Per hundred lbs unclean here. I'm out of the game for now. That's too low for my time. and yeah dryers will eat change. I've actually run across a few with Change and socks inside of em.. couches too.. we always cut them open along the back to check. You'd be amazed what you'll find in a couch.
Nice haul.. I just disassembled a car battery today for the first time ever.. found it laying next to the road at work and got excited thinking easy $10 .. it was busted open and my local battery shop won't pay much for em when they're broken.. I was curious about how they're put together and how much lead I could get out of it for casting buck and slugs.. so I took a Sawzall and got busy.. I rinsed all the plates and put em in a bucket, covered with water and poured a box of baking soda in. Letting that soak until later. I figure there'll be about 10 lbs of usable lead. TBH it was too much work and won't be doing it again. But it satisfied my curiosity.
Love seeing the Chicky's 👍. Baby's are looking good!! Still trying to figure if I'ma try chickens this spring. SO MUCH I wanna do around here but body not cooperating much🤬 so we'll see. Thanks tor showing what your set up is!!
Looks like a good haul.. Yard ran out of Checks? That's different, all the yards pay cash money here. That radiator looks like it has copper top and bottom. I'd cut those off with the sawzall and separate it, kinda how I do my A/C coils. And I still haven't taken my copper and brass in.. I'm up to 5 buckets of copper and one brass.. I need to get busy on that. Taking up valuable space in the garage.
