Buyer beware, check the VVT solenoids for glitter before considering any Kia/Hyundai. When the bearings spin and debris get splattered everywhere, this is where you can easily detect it. You only need a 10mm socket, disconnect the harness connection, remove the bolt, twist and pull, then inspect the mesh for sparkles. I failed to do so and now I am spending an additional $6000 to rectify my ignorance.
This is a useless Video; I have a 2021 Santa Fe.. that lady said is installed on all vehicles they sell.. really cause this one doesn't have one unless I fork out extra money. and I love how the tech just pulled the cord and didn't even show where exactly it seats or anything. this aren't tip. my cat can do better videos then this.
This is why either use OE filter and crush washer on our Hyundai, or take it to the local reputable dealer for service. They seem to be sensitive to non factory parts.
My wife did mine in <3 mins. My hands were too big to reach into that tight of a spot . . . That was our 2013 Elantra. The canister heater for that one cost $30 and served me well. I would only use the canister type. They're safe . . . work the best . . . and last. Now I see they are about $130 . . . We just bought a 2024 Tucson 2.5 . . . Still going to do it. I ?think? it is on the back side of the engine block facing the fire wall/same as my Elantra/have to research it more. It's a dead-end hole about as round as a Nickle (maybe larger) and it has a flat tab on one side/on the outside of the hole for the heater to clip onto. When you get the heater and find the hole you'll see. It's No harder than making baby's. Be sure to get the right one. I think my Tucson is a Hyundai Block Heater 011AM-00005. You will need a lot of heat-sink paste to install this. So order a tube when you order the heater Once installed . . . 1) Never plug it in when the engine is already warm . . . must be COLD. 2) In the morning unplug it . . . Then start the car. Don't run the engine when it's plugged in. You will forget it. Mine lasted 12yrs. and was 100% when the car got totaled recently. Good Luck . . . Moving on . . . Doubt if you learn anything here.

When hit the button for the initial lock it did flash blue, now it flashes red and I have to push the button twice for it to lock before the second hold push for it to start. Is there a reason for this?
My remote started was working before but now The blue light shows up on the key remote start but my vehicle dosent respond. It wont start with remote strat key and wont start with original key fob Please Help!
