I like how the previously overstuffed cost closet now becomes a drying area. Now a much more enjoyable to do laundry in, especially with that 60s era happy wallpaper
This week, we had the pleasure and honour of organizing the kitchen of this luxury condo. My team and I have been in a lot of homes and have organized more than 251 spaces (I lost count after this number) -- and this is BY FAR the best views we've ever seen in our city.
On the hottest, most-humid day of the year, Cheryl and I transformed this retro inspired, grandma-chic laundry room from messy to organized. This is a new video format for me because it includes the complete client backstory and FINAL REVEAL! I'd love to hear what you think -> Keep going with this format or stick to the How-To and Shop-With-Me videos?
I would like to invite you to test our drawer divider organizers, I have sent an email to the email address you provided and look forward to hearing from you.
@@tiffanyharrison21 Hi Tiffany! I am interested, but only if it’s a product I love and would use myself. I’m very picky but I need to be, because I want others to rely on my opinion.
Great question! It often depends on the situation and types of scarves and belts. We often file fold scarves and put them in a drawer or a basket. There's a few nifty ways to fold them, but the easiest and neatest in my opinion, is file folding. Sometimes our clients have belt pullouts in their closets which also work well for scarves that you don't want to fold. For belts, you can either use the pullout I mention above, or you can also roll them up and put them in your honeycomb organizer, depending on their size. A bulky belt likely wouldn't fit. I haven't used them in the honeycomb organizer, but it's worth a try. I have however used The Home Edit's Clear Expandable Drawer Organizer, to display them rolled up in each slot, inside a drawer. And if you want to get super fancy, you can buy an acrylic belt holder which holds 4-5 belts and you can display them on a shelf. My favourite is when we have built-in pull-out drawers that have dividers specifically made for belts, but unfortunately, those are only in custom closets.

I get flooded with messages each time I post a closet makeover on my Instagram page, requesting info on the products I’ve used. So I’ve put all of the foundational products together, in this 9-minute video. I also included the same guidelines I use to teach my team members to organize closets. And at the end of the video, there's a surprise client reveal ~ which makes doing what I do, oh-so-worth-it! **Featured Amazon Must-Haves** Find them all here: Canada- amzn.to/3SbohE3 US- amzn.to/3WvZGg4
Dude, we won't even have a hudson bay store (Moncton, New Brunswick). We had "The Bay" but it closed when I was a kid. The whole mall (Highfield square mall) closed. Zellers was next to superstore, that closed. Then Sears lol.
Sorry to hear everything has closed down near you Sarah! It's terrible to see these empty buildings around. Sadly, I think the death of malls and department stores began several years ago with the push of online shopping. Not sure if you saw my pinned comment above, but the Bay closed a store in Winnipeg and in BC for a few days last week because their HVAC systems couldn't keep up with the heat wave. They haven't been able to keep up with maintenance in their stores so I think it's the beginning of the end. Having said this, I did love their Zellers product selections and keep in mind, you can always order online.
It’s worth checking out - just make sure you call ahead if there’s another heat spell, as they had several stores in Canada closed last week due to their HVAC units needing maintenance.
It’s been awhile since I dropped a Shop-With-Me video and of course, the one that I pick happens to be at a store that’s making news this week! Zellers, located inside the Hudson Bay Stores, shuttered a few stores due to their HVAC systems not being able to keep up with the Canadian heat waves. Thankfully, I had enough usable content ahead of this drop! Now, what store would you like me to feature next?
Sylvia, thank you so much for this video! Did you know that you can order items in bulk at their website? You order and they ship it to your choice of store. I just checked it out, and they do have the 14oz containers with bamboo lid in a case of 12. Thank you for all your organizing videos, they really inspire me.💞
You are so welcome Gloria, and thank you for following along! Oh my goodness, I completely forgot to check their website - Thank you so much for reminding me!
I felt defeated on day one, because I hadn’t anticipated how much stuff was actually stored in the crawl space and small storage room. In fact, I couldn’t peek my head in to gather the size and volume of either of these spaces at the consult, because they were each filled to their respective doorways. The thought of carrying all of the old building materials and firewood up a steep set of old basement stairs, where you can barely see your feet as you go up and down, was extremely daunting. Lucky for me, my hubby bailed us out, and carried it all out, while my team and I created magic!
