I mean backstabs mindgames are the most fun thing about this game and all souls games, but people that don't understand how they work think they're "cheap and skilless"

It looks like the hitbox is only at the tip where the blade is, and because the pole is so long, the hitbox goes over other players and player sized enemies' heads.
That weapon in general has some problems. For one, since it's classified as a Colossal weapon instead of a Halberd, it can't be infused with the Charge Forth ash OR Giant Hunt, which would be perfect for it. Another problem with it is the moveset. You can straight up miss enemies right in front of you due to the diagonal swing of the first R1 while two-handing it. It also has no poke, despite being a halberd. I dunno, these might just be some nitpicks. I wanted to like this weapon but it not being able to get Giant Hunt is a big miss for me.
the worst part is- its default skill is Charge Forth. Katar and Pata have the same issue of coming with impaling thrust but not being able to be infused with it or any other piercing ashes of war.
@@arcstaff yeah, it's an inherent design flaw and in my opinion, an actual honest to god dev oversight. If a weapon comes with an ash not *usually* applicable to its weapon class, it should *still* be able to be infused with that ash. Simple as.
@@Jormyyy You weren't crazy, it's a common problem with a lot of weapons that have ashes that aren't normally applicable to their weapon class, like Pata and Katar both having Impaling Thrust and not being able to actually get different infusions of Impaling Thrust due to the ash not being applicable.
You just described the problems of colossal weapons, as a class of weapon. No, youre not wrong - they are mathematically very bad weapons, and practically even worse.

@@JimbobG.A.D yeah, had the same reaction. - works in PvE - doesn't work in PvP - second flip works - first doesn't - it has anti air hitbox - not the grounded one - only on this specific colossal WTF
@@RucaBurankeewhoever build and armed those Golems better have an explanation for this one lol. A shame tbh, my favorite Colossal with my new favorite AoW being a bugged interraction kinda sucks. :(
