Your room was no better than our room that we stayed in that you can find on our channel. Yes get the hotel is old but that is no excuse for not keeping up with the cleaning. Did you see the Hotel Manager too for a quick tour downstairs?

Another interesting video mate and not a bad price for that place. Went in once for a careers day after leaving job on trams and theme park, but chose a different career path. Would consider staying there to try it, as doesn't look too bad, although I usually stay down the south end of town, but just north of Gynn Square is nice enough. Looking forward to coming up this weekend.

The room was terrible especially the window frame and stains on the chairs i would have expected more from a premier hotel like the Imperial .... and i dont know where they get off with the car parking charge where are you expected then to park your car? if not at the hotel you are staying in..... however i don't think the price you paid for the both of you was too bad especially with breakfast.

Went hear three years ago with my elderly mum, The room cards often didn't work, we also was near to the top floors, very grand entrance, I couldn't believe they let the room out to anyone what they gave us, blood in the bathroom, Huge and I mean huge cobwebs behind and and old head board. Everything was not vintage clean and nice, But filthy grime and I've never seen a room so bad, I also had been a room attendant myself in the Midlands hotel manchester another grand hotel and belive me not chance would a room be let out to the public in this condition, It would of been a health hazard the room we got hear. I told them I can't believe they passed the room, and went through things with them, No room check was done either before let out, the bed was hard, bedding was that old, you wouldn't ever think such a hotel could allow anyone to stay their in such Grime, The only thing I can say the staff were lovely, They did Change our room, Which wasn't much better still never been deep cleaned ect.. To be honest I wouldn't stay hear for Free... What a massive disappointment, Looks like nothings changed..Filthy Hotel... Only the ground grand entrance looks Cared for, I came out itching definitely not a good place if you're allergies are bad with dust.. 👍

Im interseted to see this one as NOT stayed at Cala gran since being a kid in the 80s ! I now live down Bristol and not stepped foot in a haven park for yrs BUT for my birthday we went to haven burnham on sea for a weekend fri to mon morning it cost us £350 for a gold standard caravan ...i think we were lucky as the one we stayed in was only about a yr old as they changed some of the park (were we were used to be the buget and bronze caravans and they re did that whole area with gold ones and re did the roads etc! would i stay again at a haven? possibly it was ok for the price as it slept 8 but only 3 of us so if we had 8 people and split the cost its a bargain you also got passes into the entertainment rooms towels and bedding! (the down side was in the main resturante they ran out of stuff even sausages im mean come on thats a staple part of a cooked english ...they also had no steak so a mixed grill ..also cause of the suasages was not avialable that was a poor show in my opinion! Also my partner who booked it (surprised he did as he always said he wouldn't do a caravan or camipn hoilday/ break in our pAST 19 YRS WE ONLY EEVR DID A CRUIS HOLIDAY!) could not get the haven app to download to his phone and reception staff while nice and polite were not much help ..when we checked in didnt give us any info just told us were the caravan was and directions that was it! ...BUT from what i can gather each Haven park is diffrent (AS IN THE SAVER UP TO THE PLATINUM Caravans) ...aparently each Haven park is different and its left to the area managment on what they class each parks caravans at saver to platimum ......i found out a 44 min drive further down from Burnham ( of you tube vids) to Doniford Bay Holiday Park a guy rented a gold caravan same as us and it was a lot more like a PLATINUM ! ...MIND YOU IT IS A SMALLER PARK so not as many facilities as burnham so i guess they try to make up for it in the accomidation! as FOR YOUR COMMENT about toilet paper yes they do supply it BUT only the one roll that was in the main bathroom / shower! our gold caravan had an ensuite toilet and sink in the main bedroom ...no toilet paper in there we had to go buy stuff from the camp site shop! TBH IF YOU EVER GET DOWN THE SOUTH WEST I WOULD RECOMEND THE HAVEN BURNAHAM on SEA FOR ITS FACILITES IF YOU HAVE KIDS OBV you do! ...Plenty going on for families with kids all day ..big arcade outdoor and indoor pool with stuff giong on , and plenty of outdoor activities too for them , along with for the adults an outside bar IF the weather is fine, outdoor stage too that has stuff on for the kids as in shows AND sometimes like when we stayed theEuros were on so it was shown on the big screen on the outdoor stage as well as indoors in the mash and barrel resturant! ...evening entertianment was also good a pretty big venue at burnham tbh with you! ALSO the mash and barrel at burnham opend early for breakfasts and did i kids one with the haven characters from 9am Only asking as the gold is worth it if you visit again ( obv depending on cost and the haven park as they calls stuff diferently park to park as mentioned above) at burnham a gold was 3 bedrooms , a pull out sofa bed, 2 bathrooms 1 with shower, a prety good ktichen with dishwasher, built in microwave, plenty of storage in the kitchen , a full lenght fridge freezer , an island in the middle / breakfast bar with a few stools, a dining table with 4 chairs, seatee and to chairs plus some stools, and then patio doors leading out to a deck that wrapped around from the side door to the front with a table and 6 chairs to eat out in the sun ....if you mved them around you could also fit a sun lounger on the deking if you brought one with you! IF you decide to visit Burnham park i would recomend ( as i think you can pick where you want to be as an extra charge ) holly way thats where we stayed ...its a short walk from al the amenties in the park (around 3 to 5 min if that) and also a short walk to the seafront (but better walknig th 10 mins in to burham as the beach where the park is is pretty rubish as in the estuary for a river so not much sand ! sorry Curt for the long comment lol Just wanted to let you know WHAT my experience was at the Burnham park in a gold caravan! i tend to do that sometimes! anyhow i have subbed to your channel mate!

It made me laugh tbh when to fire alarm went off ..even if it was a false alarm ...the nearest fire exit and evacuation route is and should be posted on the back of the door on every room! OBV no one bothered to look at it as everyone headed to the main staircase by the looks of it in your vid! The 1st thing i do is when i check into a hotel is look at that then follow the route counting doors etc as i go ...i know that sounds daft BUT in the event of a real fire the hallways may become smoke logged so by couting the doors along the corridor to the fire exit you can still get there if you cant see if the power goes out or smoke by keeping low and feeling and counting your way as you go! Just a tip on my part as you never know what will happen in a hotel!

People saying it needs massive refurbishment aren't wrong but they are unreasonable expecting it to happen. The revenue to do so just isnt there. Who goes to Blackpool with the intention to pay top prices to stay in a refurbished regency hotel? The town is flooded with cheap accommodation that caters for the low budgets of those who stay. Unless people are willing to invest in UK seaside towns by forgoing their trips to Turkey, Spain, Greece and France then the status quo for these hotels will not change.

have used this hotel for years but the cleanliness has dropped. the rooms are poor for what they charge per night . to charge £10 per day is a rip off for parking this is a 3 star hotel at most .as video shows a lot of work and money required but i think as the owners have other hotels in blackpool including a new one yet to be built that is where the money is being spent not on this old beautiful hotel which is a shame. great and honest review thanks

Long term neglect is such a shame in a hotel like this. Furniture is from the 50s and it's grubby and dirty. Thanks we will avoid.

Why question a fire alarm ? Most residents never read the evacuation procedures, it won't happen to us.

We need to evacuate a lot more hotels to, with the boats/ dinghy's on the beaches waiting for the people evacuated from our hotel's and send them back home because they are not welcome here full stop,and what a shit hole of a hotel you stayed at and after pay for it, while some are living in better hotel rooms and we're paying for those to

Imperial is a great stay. There are no bells and whistles and not night entertainment but they do a superb breakfast buffet 😉 Never seen there rooms looking so shabby too be honest. If you want something more entertaining then try the lyndene, it’s now my favourite hotel nd the staff are great too. You will not be disappointed by the evening ents and the bingo 😉🤙🏻 Claremont is also a great stay, it’s a lil battered but the evening meals are great and you get fish n chips for lunch

We used to stay at the Imperial, especially at christmas and it was immaculate, cannot believe how bad it has got, such a shame. It is a beautiful building but definitely needs refurbishing and some better cleaners.
