#ad So I do not know if they would be ok to use. The batteries would need to be updated and by the time you do that the cost would be equal to buying one. Here is the same one I use: Amazon - amzn.to/4eKYj3c
Sounds like an idea that could take off biggy, and be a BIG boon to anyone wanting one heck of a fishing experience. We have an amazing Estuary here, but for those who don't know the "Where, when, and how", they truly do need a good Guide to justify the trip expense down here. I recommend you often. Tight lines Brotherman. (save some for the rest of us. lol)
Pigfish and Croakers! Unfortunately, they beat artificial bait or flies, hands down - every time. This is the guy to fish with people! (I've actually never met him, but I know enough about the area to tell you he's 100% correct) He knows what he's talking about... (I live and fish in the same exact area for over 2 decades now... if you want to catch fish, take his advice! ) Hope to hook up with you soon one day Capt. Hard to believe we live so close together and have never met in person.
You are too kind my friend! I actually am working on a project here that could p[potentiality give away a free charter every now and Like a free online raffle. What are your thought son this?
Excellent choice of rods. I was lucky enough to be the Editor of the 'RodCrafters Journal' back in the day when St.Croix innovated the modern rod blank "nano technology" we know today, and brought it to the public. For a "factory" rod, they're still the best money can buy, IMHO. Outstanding rods, bar none... yes, they can be "pricey" for a factory rod - but you get what you pay for. (Fishermen who swear by "Ugly Sticks" won't understand... until they actually TRY one) Good review Capt.
It is called a ballasts regulator it's purpose is for brushing the shoulders to level it out and cleaning above the ties, you can think of it as a big broom
First one was a tamper. Tamps ballast rock under the ties to level the tracks. Second is a ballast regulator. Basically grades the rock the tracks sit on.
Great info. These things save lives. By the way, ACR recommends doing the basic test monthly. The full GPS test can only be done a certain number of times, then it won't test again. I think it's 20 tests.
I'm having this same issue, going to try this fix tomorrow. I also have some large clear syringes with flex tubing I bought off Amazon for like $10 that I bet would work well for this.
That is not what I said. I was telling him to not reel it in any further. You want to give yourself around 5 to 6 feet of line as to not break the rod tip. Also it is a lady fish and will spray poop and blood all over the boat. So no I do not want it in the boat.
Hi i have a problem with my Yamaha 8hp 2 stroke 2010 outboard i had to change the impeller on it but when i was done and was gonna put back the lower unit i just could not do it im not sure what i have done wrong, i have watched a bunch of tutorials and for them it just slides in but i can only get in until theres just a bit more to and it just stops, Can you help?
Was in neutral? If it was in a gear then it needs to slide back in what ever gear it was in. It is very important to make sure the gears are not shifted. You can try to move the gears around. forward reverse and what. This happens often.
Yes it will work for pretty much any application. You can also use any size buckets as well. I made one for a friend the other day using a giant bucket from tractor supply store he got for large capacity tank: 7 gallon bucket - amzn.to/3LW9xWe or use a large trash bin: amzn.to/3WUZJ5e
This and the other videos you do are by far the best tutorials I have ever seen. You talk to us like we are on the same level. It makes doing these DYI so easy. Thank you!!!!
I had the low fluid problem and resolved it using the soap dispenser with a clear piece of plastic tubing. The tubing on end of dispenser makes it much easier. Now I’m getting the clicking and I’m hoping it’s a relay since it just clicks, eventually it connects and goes all the way up or down but getting it to connect consistently is the problem. Thanks for the video. 👍
So they are Avid by St Croix. Then Shimano reels. Here is the ones I use. Depends on tarpon size med Heavy or Heavy: Shimano Twin Power Reel - amzn.to/4fp2LFU St. Croix Heavy Tarpon Rod - amzn.to/4c4J2bQ
