The fact this exists cements why Master duel will never get retain players you thought TCG was bad? you have to play though a card that says draw a billion cards or you ash it or called by it or cross out or suffer giving the opponent so many cards they can come back and destroy you hash tag ban maxx c
I'm sure I sound like a yugiboomer when I say this, but it used to be that if I saw someone summoning 10 times in a single turn, I expected them to go into Quasar, and that was actually kind of cool. "Here's this massive monument of a boss monster, try and beat it." The challenge was worth sitting through all of that, especially because it's a strategy and deck designed solely for that purpose. Sometimes it feels like Konami looked at that and said okay, EVERY deck should be able to do that, but better, and with a far greater payoff.
My opinion about meta decks, I hate them because they just go in circles to gwt one or two cards out. I rather have 1 of each card in a 40 card deck including spells and traps. It's like war and you never know how the game will turn out. I don't like watching someone do the same things over and over just to see the card I just killed get back on the field in 15 special summons and 20 effects from the grave and banishment in one turn hahaha. They should have only made cards not decks and they should have allowed us to use are imaginations. Now we have the same decks over and over with nothing cool or skillful about them. Very boring.
It’s not really the decks, it just Konami period. The ban cycle is unfair, the endless summons are ridiculous, and the way your first 5 cards have such a high impact on winning is wild. There’s no more grind and nowhere near as much brain power into matches. Just hoping you get lucky with your first 5 cards. That’s all the past so whatever, but all they have to do now is raise the life points. How hard is that? Give people a chance to use their decks. You make the game 10x faster with the same life points, genius.

It depends on your perspective. Since you get a new meta deck every few months players that are already playing every day get some sort of change to keep the gameplay from being stale. On the other hand, it kind of brings pain to people that don't like new decks with some sort of unfair advantage. I personally believe it's good as long as there is another meta deck that counters it, so we don't have the Tearlament problem again. And we get something new to look forward to, so this game doesn't get boring.
Black Maria and conquest of the sea are great cards , 10c blue white beard it’s decent. Most valuable card was Black Maria. I play the card game on my locals for fun once a week.
