@@ottersrcgarage576 ya trick is to learn a lot and then start teaching! Your car looked to be about a second a lap off at time of video. If you want to go faster feel free to talk. Many nation titles here!
Nice to know a Traxxas .15 will fit in one I have a Sunfire electric and I turned mine in to an on road rally car gonna have a new video out the end of this week that’s a good idea to put a Traxxas ez start on that.
The tenth is discontinued sadly. The 16th vxl is a blast especially if its one of your first. A 2s wakes it up and parts are cheap. But that 10th is a lot of fun!
@@ottersrcgarage576 I have the chance to buy a brand new v1 e revo for $500, and I’m still stuck. Mind you I’m a teen so money is tight and I’ve been saving up for 3-4 years. And I’m still stuck
They were a no name brand off ebay from china. There's a lot of different ones at different pitches. You have to install the adaptor from traxxas first to run them. Expect your battery life to go down. We're trying to get a high torque brushless system in it to run slow and get some run time back.
As a man who grew up in a tire shop. I can see this being useful , seems kind of slow to me . I get you can set it up and then get one set up on the balancer, we have 2 snap on tire changers and balancers. We have a couple guys mounting and a couple guys balancing and we have another guy installing them we can slam 2 sets of tires out in no time. I think this machine would slow us down
We have ran redline and zeee 2s race batteries but it is pretty spread out what everyone is using. The stock esc is really the limiting factor, as long as you are over 5000mah they seem good.
Mount your camera to the roof on the inside of the car. That would be awesome to see. It would lower the weight of the camera to the inside of the car as well which would help reduce the potential to roll.
I love the Gen 7. I have a few sports and a few pros. Both great trucks. The sports just need metal lockers, or connect boxes as they are called on eBay, and they are good to go and can take a beating.
Gears allowed are whatever came in the box. We use the bigger spur and the bigger pinion in the box. I think we're running 50wt in the shocks and as far as camber, about 6° leaning left.
