This album is really something to spend some time on. The flow of the album is amazing and every and each track has a story to say. Simply amazing !!! ❤

Thank you so much! It's pretty wild to me that he reposted my tune. I mean I was just browsing through his Lost Dungeons book this morning. Check out my other two albums by Primal Being, maybe you will enjoy them as well! 🧙🏻♂️
I would love to do a tape or cd release, but I'm afraid shipping would be a total turn off. Never mind sending a tape to outside of Europe. Who knows, maybe someday in the future. Vinyl would be my preferred medium, but the cost to produce those is too much for me, at least af this time.
Ohhh yeah... those pitch shifting acid accords did not lose any magic over time... captures perfect the time and tickles all the nostalgia... huge respect... I wonder if there's anything you couldn't do. ^^ Don't ask me why and I don't mean this all too serious but if you gonna make an oldschool Dubstep album (full of dark, filthy and good ol' rhytmic wobbles) I bet it would be on my Playlist forever HAHA
Okay I waited for a second album to see how good this dungeon synth author really is and to me right now, you sir are the best there is in the genre. You create melody yet still manage to keep it ambient. Most of the guys just ignore any melody completely which to me is a pity.
Hey! Long time no see! ^^ Awesome EP! :o Very liminal (but in a good way ^^)... So calm and spooky. Reminds me a lot of "Children of Alice - The Harbinger of Spring" if you don't know that, check it out! ;) One of my alltime favorite weird piece of music! This comes really really close but not as a copy. Just another great thing! I like all the sound manipulation that's going on. The melancholy swing strings of the first one that almost become Binaural. And the Theremin in the second one gave me a lot of UFO-Vibes! Overall this feels like a dark night, nothing happens but you just couldn't come to rest and the feeling somethings happens every minute makes you almost insane. But nothing happens. It's just silence and your weird feeling that says: "somethings off"... So the cover fits perfect! Texture work is again TOP NOTCH! Could wright sooo much more but to make it short, I like it A LOT! I mean A LOT A LOT! :D <3
Hey, man! Thank you for listening! Glad you've enjoyed this little project. I wanted to capture the atmosphere that I got from reading "The Mothman Prophecies" by John Keel, and this is the result of that. Am listening to Children of Alice now, and I can hear what you mean. Never heard this before, very interesting. Check out my other projects I've released: Silent Writer (Y2K sound, Silent Hill inspired) and Primal Being (dark fantasy music, I guess), maybe you'll like some of those too.
"The Chosen Ones" sounds like the music that would play as the heroes have a final confrontation with the horror that's been plaguing them throughout the movie. "In The Back of The Car" sounds like our heroes, what's left of them, are reflecting on what the heck just happened, is the threat truly gone and how they can move on with their lives knowing what they know and how traumatized they are. "Memory Remains" sounds like the music that plays over the end credits as the audience sits there reflecting on what they just watched and still trying the process it.
Bought this album without listening to it based on how much I liked the first album. It did not disappoint. Primal Being is one of my favorite dungeon synth projects. Thanks!
Looking for more? Listen to the followup album "Nocturnal" here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5DFDP2rg_V4.html As always, thank you for listening! ❤
Check out the b-sides that didn't make the "The Missing" album mixed in with some new material in this new EP: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qOIZK6vF4FI.html Thank you for listening!
I love this album. One of the best modern dungeon synth albums out there. I really hope to see more Primal Being in the near future! And yes, Silent Writer is awesome too!
I now have an urge to make an entire DnD campaign where the sprawling gothic medieval cityscapes are slowly descending into madness, and the party tries to figure out what the cause is. As it gets more and more chaotic, they uncover ancient demons plotting the demise of civilization itself, and to plunge the world into darkness in an endless hunt. All the while, the typical DnD fantasy background music will be replaced with this chilling dungeon synth. It would essentially be like a Lovecraftian cosmic horror, but biblical instead
