I just learnt that drones can fly using Leonardo da Vinci's Aerial Screw. If you can make your aeolipile lift off using such a rotor, I suppose you've cunstructed a renaissance helicopter. Wonderful!
It is simply a leaf suspended in the air by a very small strand of spider or worm silk so small you can’t see it. In fact I saw one three days ago while hiking on our property. I don’t know how or why the insects are able to do this. It is an interesting natural phenomenon.
Thanks for watching. At the time we made this video there was a meteorological phenomenon bringing continuous huge amounts of water from the Pacific and huge amounts of rain to portions of California. I am not aware of a current “atmospheric River”. We watch The Weather Channel regularly and they are a great source of weather information.
This product is terrible, I used it and it did not self level, it set up within 2 minutes after pouring it from bucket after the 2 minutes of mixing. Followed the directions to a T and it was not fluid at all. Waste of money and time
Save your time! Power wash all around the roots and then use a chainsaw. Removal of the soil debris prevents wear on the chain, also try and go further out from the tree base.
Thanks for watching and call their technical support as soon as you can. The last time I called them this was their phone number for hybrid water heater support: 800-995-0982.
Fyi - you shouldn't be using copper tubing with an RO system, since it can leach the minerals from the copper and contaminate the drinking water. This'll also result in the tubing to be damaged over time, leading to leaks.
25:20 years ago in that dark room I remember hearing either a trex roar or another dinosaur that was near by but its scared me. I was 6 when that happened. Yeare later the titanic exhibit was there and so we went to the dino exhibits first and when i went bqvk to that dark room that same fear covered me i was 17 that time
I called Rheem tech support today to request a replacement thermistor for my faulty Evaporator thermistor. They verified the temperature reading on my thermistor was faulty and will send a replacement. I asked what is being done to fix this problem for all the homeowners who have this problem. They said that the tech support team and engineers met in July 2024 to discuss the problem because the call center was receiving many questions about this error code. There has not been a long term fix or bulletin issued yet, but it is good to hear the problem is heard.
bom vamos la mesma forca que vc gera pra girar ela gera pra empurrar a base pra baixo , prA QUE GERE UM EMPUXO SOBRE A GRAVIDADE É PRECISO QUE O DISCO GIRE NUMA ROTACAO MUITO ELEVADA E OS GIROPSPOIOS SERIAM RESPONSAVEIS POR ESSE EMPUXO DEVERIA PESAR MENOS QUE A MASSA IMPOSSIVEL NESSE MODELO
Good DIY video thanks, Bob Does anybody happen to know if better insulating of the transmisters would do anything towards extending the life of said transmisters. I have read dozens of comments about "After about a year and a half I got error codes and was sent three new transmisters. I personally are on my second go-round with the Same D=== Problem. I am installing a brand new unit and would like very much to get past the "Year and a half mark" by perhaps better insulation and wrapping the transmisters and piping etc. etc. etc. NOW, FROM THE START". Thanks ahead of time. Bob
Thanks for watching and your comment. I have a newer video about a similar problem. Maybe it will help. This is a link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1YsGx8C_Cs8.htmlsi=ngMdhyNs7dAsB85-
I don't know how much rain you get, but I'd watch out for flooding! it can erode the trench rather quickly. If you use brick with drain pipes and french drains on the sides of the retaining wall, along with maybe some more gravel closer to the house [to encourage a slope to go down the trench] may help.
One of the best natural history museums. An amazing layout and circuit. My first visit was in the mid 80's. I'm 42 now.I did my high school internship at the fossil lab across the street. It was so fun!
Great description/explanation on the tool. Thanks. I am trying to determine how long my 2 Group 31 house batteries should last on my boat while running equipment. I plan to use a tool like the one you used to total up the amps as I turn on the devices to see how much total amp draw I have. The batteries do not list an Amp Hour value so I'm a bit confused on how to calculate the time. I suppose I call interstate battery support to get an explanation from them. The batteries only list Cranking Amps (CA)1031 and Reserve Capacity (RC)200 minutes
Thanks for watching and your comment. Most batteries have an energy capacity rating in amp-hours abbreviated as Ah. Amp-hours is current in amps multiplied by time so how much current your battery can supply in a certain amount of time. Deep cycle batteries like most marine batteries are much better than a typical car battery for energy storage. Car or any engine starting batteries have to supply high current in a short amount of time compared to running various low current devices for a longer period of time. Make sure you don’t discharge your batteries down to a low voltage or they can be seriously degraded.
Hey, mechanical engineering student here. This is so awesome!! Can’t wait to go to my schools machine shop and make some of these for myself! Thanks you so much for the tutorial
Thanks for watching and your comment. We bought this property partially because we loved the big beautiful oak and hickory trees. They were great until they began falling across the road and on our buildings. We have removed 11 huge oak, hickory, spruce and poplar trees that were at risk. We used three different professional tree climbing companies for the most dangerous ones. The following are links to some videos on our tree issues. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cvtKRl75BIs.htmlsi=K5D9-7g2ApgD37No ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cvtKRl75BIs.htmlsi=K5D9-7g2ApgD37No ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RfT8SZwpurI.htmlsi=V1E360w8vsv1PqPN ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BErv-KnuG9A.htmlsi=W_90_ZBhPLa6IRRk ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cvtKRl75BIs.htmlsi=K5D9-7g2ApgD37No ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-80Nn_UKhtqc.htmlsi=IwDEVVYisWWnxbPd ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-05CTOhz1qrc.htmlsi=qk18awCawrO-T0Oq
I don’t know because I never received a bill. They were paid directly by my insurance company. I was happy so I did not ask what the bill was. All I can say for sure is that they did an excellent job. When I first reported the cracked windshield to my insurance company they asked me if I wanted to have Tesla do the work because most Tesla owners did. They said if I used Tesla that I would have to pay the cost myself and then file an insurance claim to get reimbursed. They said if they set it up with a windshield repair company that they would cover it directly so I decided to take a chance. Also it would have taken several weeks for Tesla to schedule it and the nearest Tesla service centers in North Carolina and Georgia well over 100 miles away. Safelite could do it the next day and Anderson was only about a 45 minute drive making it easy for my wife to follow me there and leave the car with them.
@jakegoakes Yes, I know this because my tesla had same thing and oem is in my contract (which most are unless you don't pay for glass protection which on a tesla wouldn't be smart)
@@jakegoakesI believe the original broken windshield had Tesla info printed in the lower right passenger side. The new Safelite windshield is labeled FUYAO DOT 459 SOLAR CONTROL ACOUSTIC DW02574. I did not ask them to replace it with an OEM windshield since the original spontaneously cracked. We will see how this one holds up.
Another type of heat engine running on evaporative cooling: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ARD3ctp80ac.html An LTD "low temperature difference" Stirling engine running on a wet piece of paper. Cooling could probably be increased by adding fan blades to the flywheel for more air flow and more rapid evaporation. In an experiment such an engine ran for two weeks on a wet sponge, and then it was only stopped because it needed to be moved.
At one time I had planned to do that. If you look at the list of 180+ videos on my channel you will find that I tend to jump from one type of subject to another. I like to share whatever my current project idea is then move on to a different subject. If you live in a relatively dry climate with an abundant supply of fresh water I think you could make something that is practical on a large scale. Here in South Carolina is too humid for it to be practical.
It was nine years ago and what I used was a sample of reflective polished aluminum that I was able to obtain from a bulk supplier to large solar projects. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the vendor. I recommend doing some Google and Bing with Chat GPT 4 searches for “polished aluminum mirrors for solar collectors”. A manufacturer of the aluminum foil or the solar collectors can probably direct you to the right vendor. Just call the tech service people and start asking questions.
