If Jimmy pimped himself out to Black Crows .. at least he did a good job... all Zepplin songs, but Crows and Jimmy Page did a good job..... Kinda sad... though!! .. .....
Great solo! Hey, all you Camera guys/Producers/Editors/Lighting guys: We don't want to see a face with no hands, or black screen/no light! He's playing the solo with his hands & feet! The same goes for all instruments! Thank you. A still active percussionist for 60 years, up to 5 bands/20 hrs. a week, not including my own practice time.
certo.....che sia stato un peccato averlo perso così presto......anche se il meglio l'aveva già dato ma quando tu bruci la candela da tutte e due i lati finisce presto ......🇬🇧🎸🎤🎶
Without Zeppelin, there would be no music at all. Just look at Jimmy play and he makes it look so easy. Jimmy Page will be the best guitar player that ever was.
Saw him 71 sept msg...73.75.77....2× each...his 73.75 kit was a aninmal had its own life in concert u saw heard n felt the thunder of that set..his orange vistalites n carl palmers 73 thru 78 set ..my 2 favs EVER live
I saw Led Zeppelin at Knebworth 2 years later (1979) and having practiced for 3 months and being sober they were much better than this. Notice how fat John is and how stiff Jimmy is. Compare to 1973 and weep. I find most 'drug free' bands to be awfully dull but the booze and drugs that fueled the fire burned them out in the end. The 'Rock and Roll' lifestyle is a brain dead death cult. Weed and Psychedelics bought insights into new music forms as the drugs used in then 60's were meant for inspiration, not being 'wasted' in a pointless rebellion against one's own body. Being a great live band, LZ improvised, like the Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers did. This meant the best and the worst live shows, depending on the day and condition of the band.
This is my second favorite song on this album behind doggie woof,, I like the video but I also like that it has some elements of the cure and joy division guitar style. I love that era.
Thank you SO much Brian! Your opinion really encourages me. This song in particular was one that I am proud of. It was one of the first songs I ever wrote, and I had to dig up the old demo and learn the guitar part so I could record it properly. Turned out to be one of those songs that came together very quickly including the mixing mastering process. I am certainly no Jimmy Page, but I feel like the guitar solos are close to the way he sounded on his occasional work in the 80s. It is also a song about God's Love in a way, so it has a message in there. Im just glad I was able to fully capture the emotion that is in the original demo, which is here on RU-vid if you ever dig it up. Anyway, thanks again. It really rounded off this latest album. My. 4 favorite songs are the title track, Doggie Woof, this one and Paper Bear Blues, but I also love the trippy ending on Came to Believe (with Penny singing "ooo la la la la") and of course Its a Good Life.

Also if ya dig and enjoyed this song drums by John B. 😀 you may also enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? And if yes why ? To find out more please read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on RU-vid. 😀
One of Page's greatest solos from Led Zeppelin days, I agree, and I know very well....I was lucky to see them 49 times between 1969 through 1977(even got to meet Page twice, Yardbirds concert in October 1967 and again down in Key West in January of 1994) That year of 1969 was a very magical year for Led Zeppelin, so much improv on songs from that debut album recorded in '68 and some of the new songs recorded on the road that would appear on Led Zeppelin II. They set the standard of Hard Rock Blues with elements of Folk, Celtic and Middle Eastern. Not to mention how to record and promote an album and deal with record companies and Promoters, Especially Promoters. Through 1969 I didn't spend more than $5.50 on a ticket, and that price got you up front. Their music will stand the test of time, but there'll never be another band like Led Zeppelin....Led Zeppelin Live was an amazing, spiritual, musical experience. The band Led Zeppelin is gone, but we have the music, and that's what counts, it's always been about the music, and Page told me that twice. 🎸🎤🎸🥁
