1st off: amazing video; i’m so glad i found this!! but for the reason i commented: the fact that the explosive watch just happened to give the bad guy a stereotype villain scar & eye is so corny to me. i wish they’d either kept his design clean or had him scarred from the beginning
I loved this movie. Was interesting to see this idea expanded upon in Del Toro's "The Strain," particularly the story of the wealthy, but gravely ill, man who aims for immortality through vampirism.
I'm surprised you didn't mention that Candyman was lynched by White Surpremacist because he fell in love with a white woman. And the obvious conclusion that Candyman recreated his family by kidnapping a black child that he never had and manipulated a white woman who resembled his lover.
ED-209: [menacingly] Please put down your weapon. You have twenty seconds to comply. Dick Jones: I think you'd better do what he says, Mr. Kinney. [Mr. Kinney drops the pistol on the floor. ED-209 advances, growling] ED-209: You now have fifteen seconds to comply. [Mr. Kinney turns to Dick Jones, who looks nervous] ED-209: You are in direct violation of Penal Code 1.13, Section 9. [entire room of people in full panic trying to stay out of the line of fire, especially Mr. Kinney] ED-209: You have five seconds to comply. Kinney: Help...! Help me! ED-209: Four... three... two... one... I am now authorized to use physical force! [ED-209 opens fire and shreds Mr. Kinney Love this movie 😊
all the mystery around the merman at the end pays off when the engineer that longed to see it is killed by it. Cool video, it would be great to see the Cloverfield series commented by you
