Could someone help me with a radiator for this Tig? I need some photos of what the wiring looks like inside. I am building my own version of this cooler and the pump works and the fans work as well, but I have a problem with activating the temperature and flow measurement functions, but practically any photos of this cu600 cooler would help me.
It is DC only so you would not want this for welding aluminum tig. You can mig weld but not tig weld very well. AC would be the preferred way to tig aluminum.
The input was 8 gauge coming from a 50amp 240 single phase connection. The wiring to the motor was also 8 gauge. The cord leading to the equipment after the converter is 10 gauge. Really depends on your distances so better look into that before you buy.
Hi , thanks for posting , great video . Would be nice if you could show us the update on te actual machine , your thougts and the difference . Thanks again
If the face plate shows a "+"and a "-" then you need to swap them. If it shows a picture of a stinger, and a work lead it can do it internally. Tip I learned on miller stuff.
Hello my friend, I have been looking for a good welding machine for a long time and I am between two machines 1 kemppi master mig 355G Water cooler 2 fronius TPS 320i pulse Water cooler. (The one you have) your opinion will help me a lot because you have already worked on the machine. Are you satisfied with the result of the machine? Thank you 🙏
Very nice piece of equipment, if you don't mind me asking what did you pay for it? the reason I ask is when I look them up the pricing seems to be wildly all over the place, thanks!
If you go to Baileigh's website they show the price on there. A trick is to buy it from a local distributor and they will get free freight to their store, where baileigh will charge you freight on top of the price. For something like this that could be $2500-4000. Mine was just under $40k
Struggling with the exact same set up for aluminum. It seems like I have to lay a bunch of beads for like 10 minutes before the machine starts welding correctly. It comes all black and nasty like it’s dirty but eventually works at cell phone. Is there something wrong with the machine? I’ve sent the machine back in they say it’s fine change wire didn’t change anything, the welder has been sitting for about nine months now and I’ve been using my Miller but I don’t want to let a $18,000 welder go to waste can you help me out?
nice comment about the v grooves being too tight that it can actually square the wire.. but fronius use u groove rollers for steel and stainless as well as alu
Hello, what are you using that machine for? How did you pick it over a Miller? I have a TransSteel 2200. Looks like an awesome machine, but super expensive
This is a transteel 2700 that I use for general fabrication. Mainly steel hardwire. I have owned many miller's and it was just something I wanted to try out and I have been happy with it. The price is around $3500 so it's nothing out of the normal.
Nice I have the Dynasty 280DX and while Jody says inverters don't do well with 6010 rods, there is a setting for it on the 280DX also. Haven't tried it yet, just having a blast with Aluminum TIG for now, but I have 50LBS of 6010 waiting....
Only cheap low-end inverters with low closed circuit voltage are unable to run 6010, Dynasty neither cheap nor low end. It runs 6010 pretty well. 6010 requires between 26-30 volts to run well, cheap inverter welders can't provide that high of a voltage.
@@Deichwerkstattbrother we got a tpsi 400 at our shop. I’m the only welder there. Would you mind helping a brother out from time to time with questions? Especially that uphill you mentioned, has me intrigued 🤣
U are full of shit....More expensive welders usually have longer duty cycles and can even run for as long as needed to complete the weld without a break.@@Migman2020
