That sounds great! I'd like to suggest a topic from my perspective, something that really annoys me :). You could research façade designs in architecture, which I see as being very similar to layout design in graphic design. Many architects lack basic knowledge of layout design, leading to buildings with unattractive façades. I'm sure you've noticed buildings where the windows don't follow a pattern, placed chaotically, merely to appear different. Perhaps you could analyze buildings, compare it with layout design and create guidelines on how to design façades. Thanks for being here, hope this helps and wish you good luck on your thesis!

Good video. I agree about the horizontal windows -- they give a feeling of confinement, which seems counter to Corb's intent. Also, I feel too much space is devoted to the ramp and the staircase -- they feel like the most central, and important, feature of the house, and shouldn't be. Compared to the ramp and stairs, the living space feels like afterthoughts, especially the bedrooms. The entryway on the ground floor seems especially dark, gloomy, and sterile, like the hallway of a hospital, and even though there is a large glass wall, much light is blocked by the overhanging second floor.

I have switched from an architect to the interior designer. And now there is a new challenge: find clients in Germany, cause originally i am from Ukraine.
Well presented video, but you failed to mention that there is a basement level with access from the stair in the entrance lobby. From memory this contained rooms for the chauffeur as well as access to an inspection pit in the garage that allowed maintenance of vehicles from below.
I always wondered if there were a basement, as it looked like the stairs from the ground floor go down as well as up. I have never seen a video that includes coverage of the basement.
Isn't the task of the house to ensure safety, comfort and a cultural and healthy environment for its residents? Why should anyone care what passers-by think?
Despite the fact that he did not design facades etc. It would have been nice to see plans and elevations and have a chance to look at them. I also think analysis of the proportions and geometry of the facades would have been helpful. What architects say is one thing but what they finis often another and I bet the facades were carefully composed. The time line was very interesting.
I think that if you look hard enough, you'll find plans done by someone, if not by Loos himself. If he dis not commit his ideas to paper, he still had to have a very well defined conceptualization in his head. You are right, often architects make misleading statements.
