Wish you were in Canada..love your videos..you should get a portable mic to wear so we could hear you better when the machinery noise wipes out the sound.
Don't listen to the haters saying they can do it quicker I bet they work in an office and never done a days honest graft in their life. Great video keep up the good work Eric
Great to see you back making videos Eric! I am demolishing my garage this weekend having built a new garage 2 years ago, and at the time I hired a 1.5ton JCB to do the hard work (other landscaping to do to), it was great, I now need to dig the trenches, or one big wide one for water, waste and electric, total length will be about 6m only but could be deep and we are in boulder clay, wondering if I bite the bullet and take the excavator for the weekend again, it's just one of these ones where you could do it in a day (plus grade the site and sort out other bits) or take 3 weekends and have a sore back! Always enjoyed your videos.
Good job, I like the fact you show real jobs in real life situations. I normally run 3 and 5 ton machines and am always surprised what you manage with your micro digger.
A lot of water and a lot of hard work.My husband had a similar problem on a building site in Burnley. Our machinery are much more knackered than yours but they get the job done.
For your lungs buddy try looking into some simple yoga stretching/breathing vids. Plenty on youtube. Plus working next to the diesel engines wont help mate.
Sorry if there is any confusion as because this was an official video Survey I didn't show myself as normal, so in case any of my loyal viewers were wondering this is a genuine Eric Barker landscapes video and not my stupid troll. By the way isn't a video survey a great idea in addition to a comprehensive report for example with insurance damages / Property disputes or numerous other official things etc its a great way to get the message across. As it is said "a picture is worth a thousand words!" Hope you like it from Eric Barker. Why not also check out my newest video the one day challenge (drain that swamp) its a real hit and I think it will rival the 3 day challenge one day.
I realise that Machine Noise is sometimes a problem but switching them on and off would be impractical, I have left in a short section of some of the repetitive digging bits so it reflects what's happening trying to draw the fine line between when it gets boring! I included a very short section of music to help drown out the machine noise and the heavy wind that was blowing. All the Best Eric hope you like it.
In this video I have shown a small section of some of the digging to show what's involved, but I'm mindful that too much might be a turnoff. I have also added a very short section of music where its repetitive and to help drown out the machine noise. Please let me know if this is a good idea I'm only trying to make it more user friendly. Ps I know the machine noise is often a problem but I cannot keep switching them on & off and still get some work done. All the best Eric hope you enjoy this.
You've shown true grit on that difficult job Eric - many would have gone home. Your an inspiration to us fellow landscapers. Hope to see your tracked Dumper back in the videos soon, looks like the TCP one ?
Hi Mark I did all the hard stuff with the preparation etc then used a company I usually use to bring their expertise to the job otherwise I'd have to have a lot of equipment and men standing around waiting for the odd tarmac job to come along. I reckon that with people you know you can trust and being able to be there, to ensure it all runs smoothly it should work well. I'd also have to buy a lot of material to get it at the rate they do as the use many hundreds of tonnes so the customer gets a great deal all round. They were very happy with the work and price. All the best from Eric.
