Nice. The back (east) side of Catalina is even more beautiful. Dramatic landscape generally in full sunlight, and with a sense of solitude that makes it hard to believe you're less than 40 miles from downtown Los Angeles.
Honestly, as someone who could put this boat in using just the props & rudder, I find it ridiculous that this was made to look so difficult when in reality someone who has never helmed a boat could do this using the Volvo IPS
Back in the early seventies I just recently got out of the us army living in westchester a suburb of Los Angeles ran into a high school friend his dad owned a canvas sail making business in marina del Rey told me they were making the new sails on Peter Fonda sail boat invited me down to the boat it was awesome I will never forget that…Peter wasn’t there that day I did see him at the airport when I was working for the airlines many times very nice person he was always flying up to montana…
Hey Steve, hoping to find the time to ramp it back up thank you for your support over the years. It really means a lot I'm going to try and get a walk-through on this boat Friday. Stay tuned.
how about in your reviews you actually state Tankage (eg: Fuel ltrs, Fresh Water ltrs, Grey Water ltrs, Black Water ltrs) ........ + Range = Nautical Miles. These being the details we want to hear!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching please remember I sell Boats I'm not a boat review channel if you want to buy one for me you can call me and I'll give you all the details, for the rest of y'all. Please enjoy.
@@bigboatben i do understand you sell boats, but maybe you need to think seriously about the Boats you're trying to sell, "MAYBE, just MAYBE" you might actually sell more Boats if you actually had given the information all prospective Buyers are interested in (i.e.. Range = Nautical Miles) , anyway keep up with the Vids!
@@WanderingWAJ Thanks for your reply. I understand and appreciate the style of video that you would like to see. It's very hard to be all things to all people. On all of my videos you will find a link to the listing with all of this information. This boat is sold, but I left the video off because it's such a cool boat and I want to keep the visual record, the link probably doesn't work in this case. I've tried it both ways, and it seems that both styles of videos work very well. These videos really helped catapult my career to the next level. I've been doing them since 2010 and it works so well that I rarely get the opportunity to make them anymore even though I absolutely love doing it. Merry Christmas. Hope you're well and thank you as always for watching.
@@bigboatben - i appreciate you getting back to me, i understand what you are saying. Please do not feel i was having a go at you for the lack of information ................ Merry Christmas to you & your family too, and i wish y'all a happy New Year, hoping to see more of your Videos, and hopefully with that little extra information........................................GOD bless you!
Nice presentation, I subscribed because he didn’t hide any important ant facts. Ie: price, engine hours, location etc. I may have missed generator hours but maybe it was missed. Is engine room accessible in living quarters under carpet ?
Absolutely beautiful condition. With only 620 hours on the engines it’s obvious the boat was mostly slipped and lived on. A similar boat new would cost well over a million or a million and a half.
