What is railroad protocol for diverging movements? The Super Continental was already there, so without written orders, or signal indication, i too would expect the switch to be thrown in my favour.
Ok written about this tragedy, how Halifax recovered, the suffering of the Native reservation outside of Halifax, how the US came to help, even bringing g Christmas presents for the town and New York started a tradition of sending Halifax a Christmas tree ever since, the rise of the citizens and the formation of the first United church
Wind and fire! terrible combination. You just have to look at the King Lake and Maryville fires in Australia... a couple of large bush fires, hot air, the wind changes and suddenly theres a mega fire! Theres a documentary on RU-vid called; When the fires come, if anyone is interested in Australian bush fires.
I remember Max Headroom and all the crazy stuff back in the 80's him and the California Raisins. The 80's was awesome and I was a kid loving all of it.
Umm this is supposed to the Hillcrest Mine Disaster according to the title but it's showing the Frank Slide Disaster that was Season 3s debut episode? Me thinks there is something afoot here 🤔
My pregnant 23 year old aunt and her 1 year old son died that day on Buffalo Creek. Her last words as she was being washed away were take care of my baby.
I hear the same thing in a lot of these cases: people going towards the entrance where they came in the venue. Always find at least two to three other exits when you go to any venue, especially large capacity venues.
Why is the 'background' music and storm noise mixed uncomfortably loud, while the narrator and other speakers voices are so soft and 'mumbled' that you can't understand what is being said. So many TV shows and especially feature films do this-- presumably for the 'drama' of it. News flash: it's annoying, frustrating, and distracting, and I'm done with this channel. Too bad. The documentation in these shows is excellent, but I'm getting a headache.
Bigfoot finds you and found me 4 times. Twice in Oklahoma and Wyoming and Montana . From 1965 , 1978 , 1992 , 2018 i’ve seen up close and from a distance. One went through the barn wall one morning Albion Oklahoma
These people an weather observers were so dumb it’s embarrassing. Did they not have topographical sketch’s back them the dolts. How can you not know Christmas Island has reefs common sense does not exist back then. Pathetic behavior to the highest degree imaginable
I've got a hero for McQueen to write, but he'll have to provide his own vampire. Not sure Walter Harper ever even knew what a vampire was. I'd like to see the coroner reports from that disaster. I think the story of Walter Harper should be told as a movie. He's a perfect main protagonist. But I want to know what his final moments were like. His and his wife Frances'. As things stand now, I'd have to rely heavily on artistic license.
The narration on this series is among the best I've heard anywhere, and much appreciated by a hearing-impaired viewer. Also appreciated is the lack of sensationalism.
Having a 4 year old daughter myself, this absolutely tears me to pieces. My heart breaks for her parents. I can't even comprehend what they went through. I wouldn't be able to cope.
