The Journal shelf 🫶🏼 That dress is so beautiful! It was so exciting to see your dream room finally finished. You’ve been making so many fun changes. We have so many of the same art books (Sibylline, Feefal, Loish). As always, your added commentary has me laughing. I liked that you filled in the empty shelves with markers and plants for now. Everything looks so beautiful. Especially the skeleton friend. 💀 I admire your shelf control and actually letting go of books you didn’t love. I find them so hard to let go, especially if they have pretty covers.

I did have a hard time letting go of the books at first but it got better :D Plus every time I look at A Fate Inked in Blood I just get angry so it's best when it goes away 😂 The most difficult one to let go right now is probably Emily Wilde's one because it is do prettyyy but it's simply not for me.

I'm obsessed with the stickers in the last spread for the Dragon Republic, I have them too and just wow they're so gorgeous! And at least you made a pretty spread for the books you didn't like so something pretty came out of reading them haha
I'm so excited! I found the first three Raven Boys books in hardcover at a thrift store too, and immediately thought of you. Since you loved them so much... I had to get them. I am excited to continue the Poppy War series, and I absolutely LOVE how your Dragon Republic spread turned out. I think the line art paired beautifully with the inky cover of the book, and overall looks so good next to Juniper and Thorne. The drapes and sword stickers are lovely, and perfectly framed the title.

Thank youuu! I was at first thinking about autumnal colours but this happened instead and I am still quite happy with it :D This summer has been insufferable for me 😢 And it's still going. At least for next week we'll be still in 30s Celsius. I don't order from them since I found Mellow Days. They are based in France so the shipping is 'only' around 15-20EUR to Slovakia. And to be honest, while A&O's notebook are good, those from Mellow Days are much much better, especially if you like using any kind of wet media. The paper is so thick!
@@RyeMiArt Honestly I mostly get Notebook Therapy now. I am trying every size I can get. I used A5, B5 and travelers now and NT has all of them. I only get the square ones from A&O. I really hope other companies will sell this size. I plan on trying a square size for my reading journal and my everyday journal for 2025 😌 But honestly most of us have too many journals anyways lol😓
I've not tried journals from Notebook Therapy yet but they look nice. Maybe if they had square one I would try it. I am so happy with thick watercolour paper in Mellow Days sketchbooks I don't think I'll ever convert to any other brand :D Hope you'll love square ones next year :) I'd love to have a square reading journal but I can't get any. Maybe, as I said in the video, I'll get one from Baylee Jae. I'm not sure yet.

Such a cute painting! I love his lil bow 🎀 I used to not be able to focus on audiobooks, every time I tried my mind would wander and I would miss several minutes lol but somehow I discovered I can focus on them while journaling? So suddenly since last year I am also listening to audiobooks and it's so much fun. Recently my library made the loan time for audiobooks shorter so for popular books with long waiting list I now also have to try to finish them faster, which means I'm slowly training myself to try listening on the bus to work without missing the story lol I still prefer physical books but I like having both as an option
Listening AND journaling? wow! THAT is a skill! 👏 I have to do something like vacuuming or cooking (only something i already know how to cook) to be able to listen to audiobook. And i spend 2 times a day 20 minutes walking to/from work so it is when I listen the most :D I love sitting down and read a book but I find less and less time to do so :/ I guess 'yay' for library pushing you 🤣 We have few libraries in town and their selection is abysmal, especially in fantasy. I'm so sad about it. So glad at least other people have better libraries.
@@RyeMiArt I feel the same, way too little time as an adult with work to sit down and read for a long time. I'm very grateful for the good libraries we have, the selection isn't perfect but it improves all the time a little bit ❤
The goose painting is fantastic! I wish I could paint well. I love physical books, I buy them nearly every month. And some time ago I found out that I could listen to audiobooks, that works especially while I'm doing chores (cooking, ironing). Now I love ironing much more 😂
you mean the little booklet? it was in one of stickii slub subscription packs. I think May vintage one. They have past packs available on their website. Yes, physical books are so much better :D I'd love to read more physically as well but...life 😅 especially in July if I did not listen to audiobooks I would've not finished any 😅

I had issues with the pacing and way too many characters (for my liking) and also I did not care about few of them. Plus I am disappointed in booktube because this books is so not about master-student relationship, she literally abandons him few chapters in! And not one review mentioned that. It was not bad but not what I expected.
You already know how much I love your journal, but I’m here to say it again. I LOVE YOUR JOURNAL. I really like your read vs bought spread - it’s so much more aesthetic than a grid. I also like that your book numbers continue throughout your journal. You pair the best stickers with your books too! My favorite spreads are February, The Magical Readathon (still can believe you painted that), and your stats spread for April, and your Escape pop out tent! The Magic of Tea Duology is one of my favorites. I’m glad you loved it!
