“Beauty is vanishing from our world because we live as though it did not matter.” ― Roger Scruton
My name is Salvatore and I'm an Italian-born composer currently living near Toronto, Canada. I enjoy writing everything from orchestral to electronic music, including choral pieces and music for theater.
Aslan is Jesus everybody knows that though lewis never said it outright " In your world I go by another name. And it is by that name you must know me. "
Thanks Jan! Yes, the music doesn't try to retell the full story. Rather, in different ways and throughout nine movements, it tries to capture the sense of transcendence which is at the heart of the story's ending.
Those are some truly beautiful backgrounds, it’s amazing that we don’t even have to leave the planet to see skies that brilliant. What need is there to explore the stars when God has condensed half a universes worth in beauty on our one world.
Yes,” said the Lord Digory, “Its inside is bigger than its outside.” “Yes,” said Queen Lucy. “In our world too, a stable once had something inside it that was bigger than our whole world.
Excellent name for a song involving Edmunds betrayal. Whether that was the songwriters choice or the chapter title C.S Lewis himself penned, it is worthy of commendation.
“Just letting you know that your title says into the unknown” While your description says”into the known” I personally like into the known better as a title to this piece but whichever one is the typo is up to you to correct. Thanks for writing this music
Hi Aaron, thanks for stopping by and for catching the typo! The correct title is "Into the Unknown," so I'm going to fix the error in the description. You almost convinced me to change it to "Into the Known," but the title is already baked into the video, so it's not possible. Perhaps it'll be the title of another composition in the future!
Happy to help! It’s always nice to get to see smaller creators that are invested in their work :) I look forward to listening to “into the known” whenever it gets written

Listening to this for the first time since the actual performance April 27, now, today, on October 13, with the Hamas-Israel situation flaming, I am finding Churchill's words painfully apt. Thank you for putting this on RU-vid, as I have much wished to be able to hear the music again, having been moved deeply by it,

Im neither a musician nor an artist. I am however a poet and lyricist. So if you ever want to compose a piece with words as well as melody, consider this an open invitation. Elsewise, here is thanks for an excellent piece of music
Thank you for your kind words! At some point, I'd love to write something for voice again, so your open invitation is most welcome. Is your writing available online? If so, I'd love to check it out.
For poetry I really wouldn't be able to recommend a website. However, if you do post something feel free to send me a link, I'd love to check out your work!
