Finally realization that BTS was not mastermind by Hitman Bang & the rest. BTS is great because of themselves and mainly RM the leader. He base their style on old rap, R&B, SOUL rythum and vibe. Just like the Beatles, their old hero were the black artist of the 50" & 60's. BTS lived their music in other words are their music. You can't reproduce orginialty. BTS is lighting in a bottle like Micheal Jackson difference style still lighting in a bottle. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I think RM said it best, but I believe it was and is a unique combination. The members have a drive I've never seen and they truly understand they are where they are because of Army. So many things that were really a miracle. BTS's story could be studied but there are so many attributes you could even list step by step and will still wont come up with the how.
I feel the same as you. Ever since I found out about BTS and ARMY, I've become a better person. I regularly work out, I organize charity in my bubble, do my job more thoroughly, I became more lenient towards others and also myself and I feel like I'm truly living with a full and happy heart most days now. It's like there's a whole new sense of confidence because I got that. It's cool to be kind and to spread love instead of hate. That's the biggest aspect of ARMY. And I think there will come a time, when you'll feel a part of it, too. Ironically, for me that happened, when I went to my first ARMY meeting. It was such an amazing experience to discuss BTS with someone else who's just as passionate about them as me. And all of us clicked right away, even though some of us were 14 and the oldest one 72. It was really special. I really hope for you to be able to travel somewhere to see them live or that maybe you'll find other ARMYs close to you, soon. Until then, you already have many friends on the internet who appreciate and share your thoughts. 💜

BTS is unique... but it is a combo that also includes their management, staff, and even ARMYs. Without any of those parts it doesn't work. To be fair BSH and the rest of management/trainers/etc. NEVER called themselves masterminds. But BSH saw RM and immediately recognized the talent. They didn’t even have a complete trainee program of their own but BSH built it around RM and then worked to keep trying different combos with him. RM was the first to move into the dorm space. Most importantly... unlike many label heads he listened to RM and then the others as they fit into the group. Also he encouraged the unusual tactic (at the time) of using social media and video to connect to fans. Other agencies tightly controlled all that.
Vmin best friends and jekook best brothers. But (TAEKOOK) moments are not edited korean army say that Taekook is the most realistic ship in bts and call them shipping an open secret. So it can be anything when it comes to taekook but true Army's will always support them no matter who they choose, the two members closest to each other and whichever member is with them will be a third wheel.

And I miss this side of ARMY because unfortunately it’s taken a turn for the worse after the tannies announced enlistment. While I’m sure there’s charity events still going on here and there, it just isn’t the same anymore. That’s why I’m hoping that after BTS come back, shit’ll get better because right now, it’s just been hell with these solos and shippers running this fandom to the ground. Everyday there’s something new on Twitter. You keep mentioning wanting to try Twitter, and while it is the number one place to get information on new BTS content, you need to dodge the toxic mfs. And before anyone says anything, I’m not implying that the toxic ones have outshone the real ARMYs but it has gotten worse. There’s still a majority of the most amazing armys out there.
Social Media was always toxic but a certain someone made it worse. But let me point out how Jin hugged 1000 Army and only one broke the rules. The fans waited at HYBE building for Jin's return not the gate of the military compound. Army still come together to defend BTS. The members have holidays but it is not reported what they do as long as they are not going to public places like a sports match or a concert. Social Media can twist the narrative and people like MHJ pay people to do so. Army still stood up for Yoongi and later defended JK against the BS take of MHJ.

I live very far away from BTS, and I plan to visit Korea. I love these guys and I am a fan. I work hard to never do anything to bother them, or have anyone think I have anything but the utmost love and respect for BTS and Army. This includes comments, posts, as well as events I attend. Love does that for me, and all Armies❤
I think you are definitely real ARMY, if you aren't active on ARMY twt or ARMY IG it's hard to keep up with these charity projects and stuff, ARMY on youtube are very different bc the platform is very different In the end, there's not one single way to be ARMY and show love to the boys to each other and the world, we all just come together in different ways, tiktok ARMY makes great edits, youtube ARMY teaches reactors abt BTS and streams MVs, twitter ARMY organizes streaming and buying efforts as well as charity donations, IG ARMY does a bit of all of those, telegram ARMY shares subed content for each language (in the soop, documentaries, etc) and weverse ARMY are constantly active and sending loving messages and fan letters to the members, there's some crossover between fan bases and platforms, but the decentralized nature of the fandom is what makes all the efforts so spread out and effective, but if you do want to get more involved in these charity projects just keep a look out for their birthdays or anniversary of albums bc that's usually when ARMY organizes a bunch of differente initiatives around the world and shares them mostly on twitter and IG.
Army are generous and very protective of the BTS members. It was not only Jin's enlistment where Army did not show up at the ceremony. They did not show up for Hobi nor did they show up for Namjoon, Tae, Jimin and Jungkook. You will also find that Army respects the boys' privacy so if someone on social media posts a picture of the boys that are deemed personal and should not have been circulated, many Army will make sure that the pictures are taken down. But not to say that all Army have that kind of mentality. Of course there are still some toxic Army, but really only will make up a very, very small part of the Army. But I agree, those people are not real Army but trolls.
Wanting to be kinder and support them is already a fantastic start, so there's no need to worry about being a "faker ARMY"! there is not such thing 😄It’s all about the love we share for them. focusing on defending against haters and toxic people pretending to be ARMY. Encouraging everyone to respect each other's journey and setting a good example as part of this fandom is what truly matters. We're all in this together! 💜
Advice for finding ARMY locally... wear BTS t-shirts when you go to the grocery, to the mall, to the gym, the park... wherever. I had to do this (started in 2015) to find local kpop fans. I've found about 40 people (ages 14 up to 65) who are not all ARMY, but who cares? We get together for comeback parties and have a good time.
