Wow these videos are amazing, you really went above and beyond, and deserve way more views! I've been casting art and products for over a decade and this was one of the most well put together and cleanest casting video series I've ever seen. I have a question though that I've always been wondering since I've never actually taken apart a controller... are there springs involved? I always assumed at least the trigger buttons used some kind of spring or mechanism.
I've cast tabletop wargaming terrain for years now and this is an EXCELLENT tutorial for casting period! Perfect for controllers, but great for scale models too! Well done!
@North Gaming Supply This isn't preaching. This is opinion. I have been a Christian for 40yrs and a minister of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. And this is opinion not the preaching of the gospel. He is only telling you what he thinks. He doesn't know anything of grace or this wouldn't be his message.
@iamzachandrews I read the bible. The apostate church is reading every man's opinion instead of the truth of the Gospels. When you obey Jesus, you receive the holyspirit, and the holyspirit teaches us truth. John 14: 15,16 And we don't need to search for truth in the opinions of men. Every epistle of the new testement but one teaches us not to fall to deception. Jesus in the sermon on the mount, specifically warned us of these wolves in sheeps clothing. Teachings us that there is another way a wider road that leads to life. But only the narrow way leads to life. The Gospel is the teachings of Jesus. And we must learn what he taught us. Starting with the sermon on the mount. The first teachings of his ministry. I follow, nor am I taught by any man. The apostate church has no understanding of how to follow Jesus in this dispensation of the perverted Grace (GOSPEL) being propagated on the church. Pastors are the blind leaders of the blind. Because most were taught by men not taught by the Revelation of God by his holyspirit. So they know not the truth or have any reckoning for it. The great falling away of the church, as stated in 2 Thessalonians 2:10 has happened already. The church is people, not a building, and the true remnit is no longer in the church building but in the streets, the stores, and the workplace. So this man you speak of it took only a moment of listening to realize the path he walks and the deception he is preaching. Follow on with him on the wide path to destruction, but do it at your own demise. There is a narrow way that is offered by Jesus, and it is the only one that conducts to heaven.

You and Rocker gaming got it figured out man I will be investing in all the equipment necessary to make custom controllers from scratch I was original very interested in casting metals for various reasons and such but gaming was something I always really enjoyed and so I've made up my mine to start making customer controllers a little side note while iam in the subject I used to work for Battle Beaver Customs you may or may not know who they are they make custom controllers for Xbox GameCube and Playstation but with all that said when I get the money to start buying all the equipment necessary I will give you updates on what I've made thank you so much for sharing this great work of art
This is the best tutorial I've found for this sort of thing. I'll be sure to use these techniques when I want to make some custom SNES buttons and shells.
I exclusively play on a 3rd party controller and haven't been able to find anyone that makes replacement sticks for them, so I might end up trying to make my own one of these days.
