I had that scheme in the 150cc and I still have my 97” with a B&E 83cc. Great flying yaks. Good characteristics. If you need a starter for a gas engine, you need a different gas engine.
Do you still have this plane and if so would you be willing to sell it? It's my favorite 51" plane I've had several but this exact scheme 3dhs Slick 540 was destroyed and I can not find anything to replace it in that size... Please let me know, thank you! Nice flying rusty or not! Lol!
Hi Mike, thanks for the great videos. I want to put checkered boards on the T28 Trojan. How did you do yours on this airplane? Did you tape and paint them or is there another way to do that. I would really appreciate finding other ways to do it? Thank you Toby
Your sheet idea is good for the iron. I go to Target and buy a large bag of baby socks that fit over the iron, twist the sock tight around the handle and secure with a strip of velcro !
Loved the commentary. I have looked for days for a better way to do this. After 50 years you would think I would have figured it out. I wish you would reposition your camera so all your cuts could be seen. Nice job!
I did the same with a Phoenix Models Yak 54, I love the scale sound and behaviour - here's my aircraft, sounds a bit different ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DBECdtgmwqg.htmlsi=GuLWSaK7aKUkoY6x
Good video. Dead stick no problem, but crash on the maiden, which also happened to me without a dead-stick, is sad bro. It stopped my fun right on the spot. lol Good luck with that beautiful bird!
