How about this: Ptosis induced vertical double vision in one eye which gets worse as the day progresses & by 9PM is so bad I can't read anything, no detail vision left. The droop causes a wrinkle in the cornea which seems to mimic astigmatism on that horizontal plane. What do you have in your box of tricks to deal with vision issues that are not 'stable', getting worse as the day goes by? Had both eye lenses replaced during cataract surgery.
These are much better than Aviator's I find. Much more solid frame and the temple arms keep the heavy glass lenses much more stable on face. I think the Aviator's are fine for driving or being stationary, but these are much better if you have to move around a lot. Underrated model from Ray-Ban.
the new ones up are not worth the price. The north star frame is just beautiful. I think Kering Eyewear bought them so they don't compete with their luxury brand. Now they have ugly ones that are not worth the price they are asking.
Comparing Deep Water vs Road: deep water is very murky in terms of the colors. It feels like it turns blue way down. Road is just insane clarity and color pop. I thought deep water would be similar being in the rose base tint family as Road (Prizm Sport). The polarization is also annoying for looking at screen protector on my phone even though the screen itself isn’t polarized. It looks cool with the ice blue mirror but overall, it seems intended for its name: water.

I daily drove Road for 5 years in the desert. Jade didn’t exist yet but even 20% was good for full sun most of the time (depending on mood). I switched to Rose Gold to get more of the iridium coating when I needed new sunglasses. Road Black is probably overkill for most people.
