Hi, I'm Tony Felgueiras! This channel will be about photography, video, and vlogs. I shoot mainly portrait and lifestyle content in the health, wellness (yoga & fitness), movement, and outdoors space (especially paddle boarding), occasionally sharing my drone content as well! My goal with this channel is to share insights on my process, content tips, and sharing the stories of the amazing people I get to work with.
Great video idea. I photographed a yoga teacher a month ago and all of these ideas are smart. I loved the out of focus foreground in the long shots on the concrete wall. Thanks.
Thanks so much for watching, I'm glad you found the info helpful. How'd your shoot turn out? Anything go well and anything you would have done differently?
This was interesting to watch... I liked the video but I honestly did't like the location where the photo shooting was taking place. What does yoga and a shopping mall have to do with each other?
Thanks for your comment and question. The whole idea behind this video was to find creativity and think on my toes with very little planning, and share my thought process along the way as a means of education and providing value to the viewer. We had limited time so we met at a central location and worked with what we could find. To answer the association question, I didn't intended to place any deep meaning behind poses in a mall, I was just looking for interesting compositions, shapes and lighting and poses that would compliment and make an interesting photo. Of course the photos we created are "unconventional" for traditional yoga, but I think yoga, creativity, and movement is for everyone and can have a degree of individual interpretation. Thanks for watching the video and I'm glad you liked it enough to also comment. I appreciate your time and hope to bring more value in future videos :)
Looove your enthusiasm during the shoot....that's absolutely me too haha just fully enjoying being in the moment and excited about what you're capturing! Gymnasts are wild, I've worked with a few in the past, the movement, grace, and poise. Really like the pairing the movements with the sculptures as well, all so good!
Thanks so much for watching, man!! I'm glad the tips came through, that was my intention with this whole video, using it as a case study to educate on my process :)
This is awesome. Love seeing the result as well as the behind the scenes. You certainly captured a lot of amazing shots and video in 2 hours! You're both very talented,. It was fun to see you in action at Gros Cap!
Thanks so much, Leslie! All those years of yoga definitely help with an eye for photographing the practice. I'm excited to do more of these with more yogis. Stay tuned!
That was awesome! Engaging and beautiful to watch. Thanks for all the tips too 🙏🏼 All the poses were great, it's hard to pick but the single-leg stand on the ledge with the line structure and plank at the end was stunning!
Dude awesome video!! You definitely have shown me I need to be more confident to shoot handheld. So awesome to see you in your element. My favourite location was the fountain at the end. With the sun set it was absolutely stunning. Great work Tony! Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks Rob, I'm really happy this video had an impact. The sunset with the fountain was awesome with the water glistening in the sun. I have so much footage it was hard to cut things down. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much Katelyn, that was exactly my intention with this video; to make you feel you're there right beside me, learning what's going on in my mind but also enjoying the talent in front of the camera in action 😃
