Have you ever come across a problem making your raft bigger than a 5x5? Because that's an issue I'm having, I don't know if it's because my raft is mostly made of drums, tires, and boue balls or could it ? but in my first play through , I didn't have this issue
I make the same raft but i leave the center open. You can attach the rudder in the open hole, makint it more maneuverable and can easily put a sail and anchor within reach.
I can’t ever decide what my all time favorite build of yours is…this is so simple yet effective! I love every single build you put out man. It’s like your channel was made with my likes in mind! Keep killing it👊🏽
Just for any newish players, running your raft front "wheel" drive is way better. IE put all your sails pointing towards the rudder, or run your engine backward. Gives you way more control.
Thank you for this video and all your hard work to bring it to us. You certainly got me excited to build my first raft. Only been playing for a couple of days, but loving it already :)
My current and favorite is a triangle5 to 1 with the middle three left out of the five with three sales on the one and three line the motor in the middle and shades on the back points and over the cockpit
That's crazy that here a year later, I have built my raft in a triangle, placed container shelves and I put my sails in the same number and places exactly like you did yours, to the letter, but I used all Bouy Balls. Completely independent of ever seeing yours and without looking at anyone else's. That's how you know it's meta.
It’s wild you say the doc is a day 100 build, I’m on my first world, day 34, stocked with enough resources to build 3 gyrocopters, my first and only raft holding 2 forward sails, one sail left and one right for diagonal sails, it also holds around 12-15 shelves each filled with 3 containers. One rudder and one motor that I don’t use unless in an emergency. I can definitely say your tips have helped me get to there though!
Commentary: Wow that Bermuda is a big build. I have one that I like quite a lot though it's small. The "Prowler" has 1 with a light pole. Then a row of 3, with 1 or 2 anchors on front side of left/right, forward sail on right, backward sail on left, and canopy in middle with rudder behind. Then I extend 1 more behind the outer 3, placing cargo shelves on it so it can carry 6. You can access the anchor and both sails from the rudder, which makes it nice for backing out and swapping direction and coming to a stop without risking getting off the rudder. It's light, fast, quite nimble and honestly between the 6 on it and the boxes I carry I haven't needed to expand it beyond this as I am pretty minimal with things. I did make a larger one which was sort of similar to your Bermuda, mainly meant for transporting cargo container panels and dragging sharks back and what-not, though your design seems better.
17:29 "You're gonna be stranded deep" *ba dum tish* LOL Man thank you for putting 9 hours into making this for us! I really appreciate it. I learned more from your video than I did from other raft-building tutorials. Yours is calm, steady paced and funny! You've got a good thing going here and I wish you all the success and fun in growing your channel. Subscribed.
Hi,, normally I really love your videos, but I really struggled with this one because you kept changing your mind and deleting stuff. Any chance that you can practice this a bit and update this tutorial?
