Thanks @WOLF-wu2rc I actually started playing sax fairly recent. This is my 5th year, but so far I tracked about 2500 hours of actual playing time. If I could give myself some advise - make sure you know how to setup your reed, mouthpiece, and neck position, because if you setup correctly, the sound will come out correctly and you won't have to learn music and sax while trying to compensate via bad embouchure. Get your ABCs out of the way the first year, practice long tones, over tones, all major/minor scales like every day. You should know that sax is a transposing instrument so either Eb/Alto or Bb/Tenor, so learn what it means to transcribe to your sax and back to concert your 1st month. This should get you started...
