@@sebastianberger8231 Depending on what length you would want your stick an 8" extension maybe a little better for you. But remember by adding on an 8" (Without cutting the extension) to a 65 flex will make the stick pretty whippy depending on your level and strength going through the stick!
Hi. I have a warrior QRE10 stick and a ccm trigger 4 stick. Will a true 4-6” stick extension work? Will the Extensions be tapered or standard? Hope you can help 😎
Good evening. I just can't figure out how to adjust the helmet. The clicks on the side need to be up, but how do i widen it? :( My GF has thicker hair now and it just won't fit :( Any help would be greatly appreciated. Greetings from Germany and thanks in advance, Jonas!
@@Ethan_Hockey_67 we tried this stick out at a Bauer Camp and we were very impressed by it. Feels very crisp on the ice, evenly weighted and nice pop when shooting. As a store we have sold a fair few now and no warranty issues so durability has been good 👍🏻
Hi! thanks for the review, considering them comes in a E fit, are them actually a wider skate than a regular ccm? i used to wear tacks as570 wide for ice hokey but them doen't exists in the inline wide version in europe so i have to fall back to something different like this mission...
Thanks for the question. You maybe there for quite a while if you were to use a hair dryer, definitely go to your local hockey store if you have one and I'm sure they would put one in for you, it doesn't take long. We find either A&R Int Wooden Extension, Bauer Senior Vapor Extension, Warrior Senior Extension or a True Senior Extension would work with it.
Do the Bauer Vapor's only take "bullet" profile wheels? I tried mounting my outdoor wheels, which have a round profile, and they rub up against the aluminum frame. They are the same diameter as the Bauer indoor wheels, the only difference is the profile. Will a regular outdoor "bullet" profile wheel work or do these skates only take hockey wheels?
Hey, great question. Without knowing exactly what wheel/brand we cant be certain. However round and bullet wheels usually have 1mm difference hence the rubbing. We would recommend for the hi-lo chassis to only use the “bullet” hockey wheels
The wheels are 80mm Luminous wheels. The rubbing is lateral. There’s enough clearance at the top since the diameter is the same, but the wheels don’t taper to a point like the bullet profile indoor hockey wheels, and the Vapor aluminum frame gets narrower where it connects to the boot. It gets so narrow that there’s very little room on either side of the bullet profile wheels and the round wheels just rub. ☹️
Thank you for the video! Do you have a suggestion for when a wheel does NOT spin smoothly after replacing all components on an indooor inline sk8? I took off the old wheels from the chassis and cleaned the chassis of any debris. Then I put together new wheels, spacers and bearings. Wheel spins fantastic in my hand and in the chassis location. It is when I start to tighten the screw that the wheel spins at half speed. I have taken off the affected 3 wheels off multiple times, rebuilt and still the issue remains.
@@HockeyStationUK Thank you for the reply! I believe the chassis is not bent, as there were no issues prior to the wheel change and will confirm tonight. I am leaning toward the spacers not being accurate in size and have replacements arriving tonight to confirm that theory.
@@kevindaly2461 Okay, yes you will need the right spacers for the bolts/chassis. Spacers make a huge difference so once in the skate if not correct they won't spin freely.
@@HockeyStationUK Thank you again for the assistance. Last night I replaced the 3 spacers and everything works as expected, the previous spacers appear to be not as precise a measurement as the others.
Great question, it depends on which Bauer extension you have…but it might not sit flush in the shaft as slightly different shaft shape. If that’s all you have then you could always use a little tape on the extension that is going into the shaft. If you need anymore help give us a shout.
Hey, I want to buy a pair of hockey skates (just for recreational skating 1-2 times a week) and I can't decide between CCM Tacks AS-550, CCM tacks as-560 Bauer XLP. Which one do you recommend more? (I weight 65kg and my height is 175cm if that matters). Unfortunatelly, there are no hockey shops nearby so buying ones that fit better is not applicable for me ;/
Hey John, we find recreational skaters love the feel of the Bauer X-LP skates for comfort and skating, so definitely have those top of the list. CCM skates are also great however that line is changing in the next few months so not many 560 available anymore. Regardless X-LP far more popular, your weight for these will be absolutely fine :-)
Bauer selling a skate for $900ish with those chassis should be a crime. Bauer Vapor 2X Pro were the last non-customized skates getting from Bauer. ...Well, until you consider the price of those when they were released.
@@josephgrushack1485 I agree. Im fine because I have Vapor 2X Pro with cryptonium right now but when I see this crap I cant not leave a comment about it.
