Went to see him in Chelmsford last Friday. He's nearly 81 now, but doesn't; ' seem to have lost any of his ability. I think the audience would have paid just to see him perform this song. Absolutely brilliant.
Two legends !.. Albert Lee plus Sir Terry Wogan who brough Eva Cassidy to the world's attention through his Radio show. And this is a radio broadcast. Brilliant!
My favorite Bond theme song... my favorite version! Lyrics: We have all the time in the world Time enough for life To unfold all the precious things Love has in store. We have all the love in the world If that's all we have You will find We need nothing more. Every step of the way will find us With the cares of the world far behind us, yes We have all the time in the world Just for love Nothing more, nothing less Only love. Instrumental (trumpet) Every step of the way will find us With the cares of the world far behind us, yes We have all the time in the world Just for love Nothing more, nothing less Only love Instrumental ONLY LOVE...❤
Probably the least known of all John Barry s Bond theme songs. Lyrics by Hal David. According to John Barry “ Louie Armstrong was to I’ll to play his trumpet but had just enough strength to do the vocals”. The song was “ too heavy” to use in the opening credits forcOHMSS but was used in the middle of the film as a montage with George Lazenby and Dianna Rigg. A heartbreakingly beautiful song and a great cover.
