Steven Robertson, a local angler on the Wirral peninsula who covers uk sea fishing around the north west/north wales area.
The River Mersey being my local venue, this river offers us fantastic fishing all year round. As you will see from the channel, a lot of session will be spent on our amazing river targeting species such as thornback rays, smooth hounds, bass and plaice in the summer along with many other summer species. The winter sessions will see us moving on to species such as cod, whiting and conger eels. the cod fishing in our river, on its day can be the best in the country!
Sessions further a field in North Wales will see the channel target larger species such as Tope, Bull Huss and Conger eels.
