Hey guy's, welcome to Models and beer. My name is Ed and this is a channel for modeling. Plastic models were a part of my childhood and now I'm in my 50's and rediscovered the hobby. I have been back into the hobby for about 5 years now. Follow me on my journey as I build kits and share my adventure. Thank you for stopping by. Please subscribe and share your thoughts and ideas.
hi Ed... i agree the engineers could figure out a better way to mount the parts on the sprue... another thing i agree with is the fit of the body onto the chassis.... great update... looking good... thx 4 sharing.. vinny
Awesome builds and awesome kit thanks for the look inside just found you’re channel you got my sub 👍 looking forward to any updates and the finished build 🤘🛞💨🏁🤙
Hi Ed, Wow, your model is really starting to come together. I like the paint job. I'll be watching for the next episode. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day buddy. Jeff
I've this and do s GT kit i want to get to some time soon I 3D printed Dom for this kit with the pump action in his hand for the build and witout the shotgun for gtx so yeah I might do them in the next 2 builds I'm finding hard wat else to put on bench now I'm stuck with foose impala or ferrari 250 gto but yeah I like the charger your doin keep up great work
Why would you speed up on the part you said you need to build the second part to 01. Then you speed up still after building the 2nd part. I have no idea what you're doing or which part you use. How you gonna do a how to build video and do that. Now I can't even watch this cuz it's not helpful.
Yeah, this video was from like 2 years ago and I was just starting this channel and honestly, I really didint know what I was doing. The build itself was a major headache and it was hard to film the build. Sorry about all that. I know it really isint much help in building this puzzle and the instructions of the kit leave a little bit to be desired.
Hi Ed! That looks really exciting. I hope you do some filming of your assembly and maybe release it eventually. I’d love to see one of these kits go together. I’ve been thinking about trying my hand at figures. Great video!
Really coming along with that car, Ed. The interior looks great! I can't wait to see it all put together. You're kind of giving me the urge to build a car model now, lol.
Hey Patrick! I'm not much of a car guy but I will have to say that i'm having fun with this one. I can set aside the serious stuff and just have fun sticking this thing together. No pressure on this one! Nice to hear from you my friend!
In New Zealand we have a Mr Muscle Oven cleaner in an aerosol can I spray this into a Ziplock bag where it foams up I throw the chrome parts in and 30-60 minutes normally its all stripped ready to be washed and primed. Enjoying the build
Engines kooking good Ed, great start. I just noticed your Asteroid machine in the back. I loved playing that back in the day. I remeber the hyoer button that makes you appear anywhere on the screen.😊
Thank you, David! Yes, I have several game cabinets. We are building a game room in my house soon. I have Asteroids, Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Centipede, and Galaga. Thank you for watching buddy! :)
A quick tip for chrome parts, you can use LA's Awesome all purpose cleaner from the dollar tree to strip the parts of the chrome, they also make model chrome paint strippers that work a bit better but are far more pricy.
hi Ed...you are right about some of the models having issues but the 2 AMT kit i'm doing now are going together very nicely... i'll be following along in your car building adventure..thx 4 sharing.. vinny
Great video Ed! I can't wait to see the finished ship. Have you considered putting together one of the new Arleigh Burke kits in 1/200? I think it would look pretty cool sitting next to Sovremenny.
hello Ed... you're making great progress... i like how you did the torpedo launchers...i wish i had the room to do larger scale ship builds.. thx 4 sharing.. vinny
