Is the cosmicar that you use a CCTV lens on? If so, how to avoid black at the edges of a video without zooming or scaling? And which c-mount lens adapter you used? Just regular c-mount or need to modify first? Thanks.. Dramatic video, dope!
Yes, you have all the details in the description of the video. To eliminate the vignetting, the black edges i recommend using the preset from 1:1 2.5K 14Bits with 2:35 on resolution setting. I use a fotga adapter and a no name one both working perfectly with c-mount lenses. Hope this is helpful. 👍🤝
@@daz_here Thanks for the valuable explanation. I will try later, but I don't know if it's a matter of focus, I have to get closer to the object being shot. Maybe the adapter I use needs a certain model. Thank you once again. 🙏
@@daz_here It doesn't seem like a problem is not allowed, but according to many people it is because of the optical distance of the rear lens to the camera sensor. This does not happen with CCTV lenses such as Fuiian cctv lens.
Like the colorgrade. IS there any record limit? Whats the whole process like converting for Davinci? Was considering getting this for professional work.
Hi, The process is very simple. The raw files that are in the .mlv format need to be converted to CDNG or PRORES 422HQ. After conversion, you can use them in DaVinci Resolve for color grading. Canon color science makes color grading easier. The choice of format depends on the professional work you are doing. If you are filming something that can be repeated, then it’s okay. However, for live events, long recordings, and interviews, it is not reliable and I would not recommend it. While the camera can record without a limit, during the process it may stop, overheat, or fill up the SD card since the raw files are quite large. For short promotional materials, product advertising, and short films where you can retake and repeat the shots, it’s fine. Hope this helps.
I rewired a direct cable connection to the motor and i'm using here a 12V DC power supply adapter. But we can use 12 volt 3A supplier power bank also. There's no vigneting if you use 2.5K 14bits 1:1 cropmood preset on canon eosm with magiclantern installed.

Вижу у тебя тоже в тенях, вертикальные полосы, я полностью от них не смог избавится, этим и плох режим 1х3, что бы не было полос только 1х1 получится снимать. Но в кадр мало влазит при кропе 1х1.
Thank You! I'm in the making of the video explaining how i can mount old vintage lenses on the Canon EosM! As i have it up on RU-vid will attach here the link toward that video.
Thanks I really appreciate it! It's the infinite time problem...between job, family doesen't remain that much...have to re-schedule my time table and try to find time for everything!!😉
Thank You!🤝 I use the Bilal's Cropmood build! I recomand @SergioRusso video for the correct installation which is very important ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TKV2v-g812Q.html 👍
