Yoooo this is fireeee. Any chance you could mod Green Lantern (Hal Jordan specifically) . He's been my favorite forever and haven't been able to find any mods to play as him
@@mangooseplays7336 Oh, no, sorry must have been tired, typo. What I meant to ask is for the red new 52 suti, can you add a version where the red is blue?
I do not know if you still have some interest in the game while modding it but i would like to invite you to my server. I have been setting up a dedicated server based on this game recently. I think your help how to mod the game could be very useful. Although it is not finished yet. I figured id reach out to you before it is ready in advance if ever you interested.
i have a question Do you know where the factions' power level is in the game files? I'm having problems because of the power being too high in the reverted version of the game Can you help me?
Thanks! To install the mod, put the downloaded files in your "/Gotham Knights/Mercury/Content/Paks/~mods" folder Create the /~mods folder if it doesn't exist. You can keep the files in their own little folder within their for your own organization purposes.
Unreal Editor, because the way they had changes things in April 2023 was to change the method of packaging mods. In other words, you couldn't do it in any type of third party software. The unique thing is I have background in programming. And I've been reverse engineering their data. Because you need to replace a data asset with something identical. Thankfully UAssetGUI points out what C++ class and/or property so that you can fill in your data asset options appropriately. TLDR The emphasis is less on the "conventional" modding parts.. Instead to me it's breaking and entering their their company..
Very very weird situation. Note that the other active modder - ammatt - is almost the same as me. He might even know (ahem remember) more coding than I do.
Haha thanks. But to be perfectly honest I made this purely so players had something new to play with. I am trying to provide something beneficial to others, not showing off. That's why I mod.
Took me over a year to figure this out lmao Edit: But they way I've been working on these updated mods requires me to reverse-engineer and code WB's headers. And that's what helped me figure things out.
Is there a way to make a mod that changes the pitch of the lines of a character ? Or even add an effect on the voices (like for your Batfleck & Batbale video, Batfleck would have a more robotic voice like the movies and Batbale a lower pitched one)
I'm trying but having trouble with the cape. Gotham Knights actually does not support cape physics that are wide enough to reach the arms. I have to figure out how to trick the system to get a larger cape working.
What kinda dogshit game is this? I mean i know its gotham knights but atleast make it realistic and not just give batman a gun Also why are you playing at 10 fps?
What I did was rig the Batman model (Nolan Batman from Arkham Knight) for Red Hood (and Nightwing). www.nexusmods.com/gothamknights/mods/416 And created the Batpod. www.nexusmods.com/gothamknights/mods/410
They are actualy not playing as batman, this is a mod. They are playing as Jason Todd aka the Red Hood...who uses non lethal guns (gotta love comic logic).
Batfleck is just a reskin of the vanilla Batman suit from GK. The only difference is that edited the helmet mesh a lot., and threw in a different head. That was from slightly over a year ago, the first time I was really messing with Blender. Nolan is my latest. This is my first game I've modded publicly so I started out doing texturing instead of meshing.
@@ninjaoffv2 You're not because there is no model of good proportions, no proper eyeholes with specific positioning of the eyes because these aspects help define the personality of the character (compare the eye holes and eye positions Sad Affleck of to Cocky Keaton... Affleck's costume shows more of the upper face, thus can only reveal the emotions that are conveyed via muscles in the top half of your skull (eyebrows etc). Keaton's costume covers his top half, hiding the emotions coming from there, whereas leaving a lot of room in the cheeks. This allows the audience to see Keaton's lower face - in that you can see him smiling not just at the lips but also at the cheeks. (A) Nonverbal communication makes a huge difference. (B) IMO suit design defines character personality. Because a character or writer makes specific choices on the suit, not just random shit. Every suit has meaning behind it, whether that meaning comes from the personal choice of the character or the choice of theme of the writer. Some of the skins of Arkham are good, some of them are a travesty. Not all of them are good - just like anything else in life.
TLDR I am into art, writing, internal details, psychology, philosophy, etc. not physical skin-deep accuracy of minor details that are trivial to an overall holistic theme. I'm not into Batman because it's just Batman. I am into Batman because of all the psychological aspects.
@@mangooseplays7336 I mean I'd be fine with both non verbal or maybe finding a model of good proportions maybe from arkham knight mods. I'll be honest Batfleck always gets more views than other batman. Would be cool to see an original batfleck suit in gotham kinghts. But nice work though
Batfleck is just a reskin of the Gotham Knight's Batman skin. The only difference is that I heavily edited the mesh from said Batman model. That was actually my first time using Blender, slightly over a year ago (this is the first game I've modded publicly). Nolan is my most recent.
Would've been really cool if each character could unlock movie accurate bat suits. But nope, we always have to rely on the modders to give us the extra stuff
The helmet is the Gotham Knights one but I heavily altered it. The rest of the suit is also the GK batsuit that comes with the game. Just a lot of texture tricks, color coordination, etc.
