Hey Reggie, I really enjoyed the video! I also felt the same about They Bleed Pixels..it was a little bit too frustrating for me. If Love 3 didn't have the checkpoint anywhere ability, I probably would have the same opinion on that as well. I enjoyed all the other games mentioned in the video. Have you had a chance to play Phoenotopia Awakening yet? That's my favorite release by them so far. I really had fun with the gameplay, plus the story was wonderful!!😄 -Shelly

Good games on this list! I own most of these on digital and physical I don't have some of these games yet though like Under Night In Birth, Zack & Wiki, Battle Fantasia, Akai Katana, Watchmen Part 1 and 2, Ghost Recon, etc. There's lots of good games on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii that I missed out on. That gen of gaming had some good games! Although, it's not as memorable as the XBox, PS2 and Gamecube era that seventh generation of gaming had tons of good hits, indie games and games based on movies! I have yet to fully explore the huge library in that gen.

They still hold up to this day and there's so many bangers in this video! I love the FEAR series, I vividly remember waiting until my family went to bed and turning all the lights off and binging the FEAR games, I pooped my pants a bit but so worth it!!!

This was a really interesting Console Generation that didn't go at all how I expected and my console of this gen became one of my all-time favorite consoles with the Sega Saturn and the Sega Genesis. When most of my buddies were getting PS2s and one got a Gamecube, it was the one that got the Gamecube that told me Microsoft was the devil and not to get an Xbox, but I did anyway, it felt like the Dreamcast 2 and, no, I didn't get Halo. I didn't play Halo until last summer and still didn't like it. The final run in the Warthog was HORRIBLE! Whoever designed the controls for that should be shot and it's the only way out. It took me forever, like repeated playing for several hours and the game glitched at the end before the final jump as a Respawn point it wasn't giving me earlier so I took it, finished the game and said good riddance. But the Xbox had other really solid games. I got a PS2 much later on, near the end of that gen, but I loved the Xbox. I was living in Detroit at the time and went into an EB Games and the guy behind the counter must've noticed something different about me and I saw the product catalog on the counter and asked him "what's this? Xbox is making another console?" He replied yes, the Xbox 360 and as I looked through the catalog, I saw Resident Evil 5, I was already sold. Didn't know about anything else, I wanted Resident Evil 5 and then I saw Need for Speed Most Wanted and I was looking at the tread. When I returned back to my home town from Detroit the Xbox 360 was already out and I eventually got one and played a lot of the usual stuff until Gears of War and I PUMPED for Gears of War, got that, loved it. One night, I went into a Kmart to get a charge pack for my 360 controller and asked three people sitting in the lobby what they were doing there. They said waiting for a PlayStation 3. Huh? Sony had a new console releasing, and it was that night. First time I ever heard about it. Time went on. My buddy and his brother got a Wii and I didn't care, I was enjoying my 360 too much. Then, one day, my buddy invites me to his place and is showing me his PSP hed gotten and then powered on a PS3. I didn't know what it was or anything about it and then I saw Virtua Fighter 5. I called my brother and told him he had to check this thing out. He was there in a matter of minutes and saw the PS3 maybe 5 minutes and looked at me and said "do you wanna get one?" HECK YEAH! That day changed my life. We split the cost of the PS3 and I eventually sold the other half to him and got my own and I never looked back since. My Xbox 360 collected dust, for the red ring a couple of times and I grew tired of its instability. It was running as well as a Ford and my PS3 was running like a Toyota. From then on, I got all my games on the PS3 unless they were a 360 exclusive then I got them on Xbox. Resident Evil 5? Oh yes, I got it on the PS3 in the end. Going into stores was really messed up after that. I'd be picking up something for the PS3 and people would stare at me like I had something seriously wrong with me. All Id have to say is: "You didn't know the PS3 has Blu-ray and a HDD you can upgrade with whatever manufacturer you want?" They didn't know any better than I did the night I walked into that Kmart. They were as clueless as I was and I started having a conversation with them and educated them about the PS3 and they wanted one. I paid $500 for mine and would do it all over again. It played every PlayStation game up to that point. I got an extra controller bundled with it but returned it to a Walmart and used the money to get another game. I also got 5 Blurays with it as that was the promotion they were running against Toshiba who was giving away 5 free HD DVDs when you bought an HD DVD player, I also had. What a console! People always looked like you like you were an idiot. Xbox 360 made it out the door first a year ahead of PS3 and that was the advantage they had. Had they released the same time, it wouldn't have gone that way. Why everyone was so backing of the 360 with that Red Ring of Death was beyond me but after 2009, people started to see things like I did two years before and the very small PS3 community said "I told ya so" a lot. The PS3 is one of my all-time favorite consoles, I LOVED IT! Today all you really need is a PS5 and a BC 60GB PS3 and you can play every PlayStation game there is, later PS3s that was cut out of because everyone wanted to gripe and complain and that was the end result, a cheaper console gave you a lot less content. I eventually got a Wii, because they were so friggin hard to get, but saw one on a Game Crazy counter and asked the guy about it, that it was being held for someone and he said No, it's for sale so I snapped it up. Yup, what a generation. Went totally different than I thought it would. Sony had a tough launch and did good until the hacking community didn't like Sony was getting the edge. So, George Hotz, being the Xbox Fanboy he was hacked the thing and an enraged Xbox 360 community went over Sony. That was a jacked up time and everyone was only that way because it was Sony. Anyone was susceptible to hacks, even Microsoft, they just weren't hated as much at the time so Anonymous didn't go after them. Microsoft even tried to buy him off seeing what he'd done to Sony and tried to give him a Zune to bribe him and Anonymous left Microsoft alone and they were happy because they'd just gotten through the Red Ring of Death, they didn't need their bread and butter shut down and it was hanging in the balance. I think they did eventually get hacked, but everyone had learned from Sonys dilemma so they could all be prepared, gaming would be fighting a different battle from then on but, Sony recovered, and had a solid E3 announcing Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, and the Vita was announced to get everyone excited and from then on, Sony built their way up to the PS4, Xbox lost consumers trust and they to swindle them and has since so yeah, what a time. PS3 was THE console of that gen, people were just brainwashed by Microsoft's propaganda and liked being treated like a number rather than a customer. Good times. Don't get me wrong, Xbox had some good stuff. Gears of War, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect (for a while anyway), but it didn't compare to PS3 and once devs got the hardware figured out and saw what Sony devs were doing with Uncharted, InFamous, LittleBigPlanet, etc. They said "We can do this! We got this!" With the exception of Platinum Games and Bayonetta, that was the only game I remember being so bad that if you wanted to play it, you would want an Xbox 360. The PS3 was unique. It had 512MB of RAM just like the 360 did, but it was how Sony divided that RAM. 360 pooled all the RAM so the dev chose, but PS3 had 256 dedicated to VRAM and then 256 to system RAM which effected the framerate in games versus the 360 but the 360s Xenos had issues with video sync so screen tearing was prominent in Xbox 360 games and to me, I rather see from frame dips that deal with screen tearing. Yup, what an era indeed. The PS3 store still is running, by-the-way, it just doesn't run very well at all AND you have to use the PS App or load funds into your other PlayStation console to your account to buy PSN games on PS3, but it outlasted the Xbox Live Store in the end as well
