Second car I buy with an aftermarket alarm, keyless entry thats bunk... First, I think was like yours. Had the same receiver glued to the window. That was a bit easier to remove, though a ffew lines had to be resoldered. Their laziness was in my favor, as some wires were just stripped of insulation, without being cut. Now Im fighting a DEI Viper. No clue if it is, but thats what the fob shows on the back. It has a relay blinking the parking lights, a small button under the dash to crank it. Sometimes I can crank after pressing the brake, today it wouldnt crank at all. It is absolutely infuriating. Its in an 85 Trans Am thats already not stock, so hunting down wires in this thing may total out the car. Its THAT bad. I dont get why people protect a car, keep it nice, just to destroy the wiring harness like this.
I had mine replaced in 2021 on my 2015 Sorento. I had to get it replaced again in 2022 amd now it's going in for the third time for the same issue. What gives?? It's obviously a faulty coupler.. and an expensive part.. what's causing it to fail? I don't drive my machine hard.
I have the exact same 2010 kia soul.. last night I got the dreaded p0041 code evap code.. fk it was just after I filled up, but it still ran and starts up.. I do not smell gas yet
Just replaced mine myself. Couple questions: 1. What fluid should go in these? 2. Does the unit have a pressure relief valve? 3. Why/where do they leak if not kept horizontal? 4. How much fluid do they take?
Hello, Its a ULV fluid butr is typcally filled for life, but for and gm sell these fluids but they are not available from kia. I am planning on making a new video for these couplings. so stay tuned.
if you want to fix your passenger windows, replace the drivers master switch. If your want to fix the drivers window... ... replace the passenger front window switch. 😂🤣

Removing the little guy on top was a real pain in the ass, the sensor cable was still attached to a piece in the engine even after being disconnected. Is a piec of plastic about 2 inches 😅😅 was an annoying job. Thanks a lot for clarifying the sensor. Mine was covered in oil and a loooot of dust, sanner gave me a p0017 code and engine cranks but wont start😢
This was awesome. Wish I was this smart. Mine just stopped working. All brand new components. Fuses are good, relay is good, pressure switches are good. I can jumper the relay and AC works fine. Could this be my issue?
It would be nice if you could get a much better up-close view of all the codes and descriptions for the viewers please. If your camera is not too shaky, we can pause the video to collect at least the code numbers for our library. If needed, refer back to your video to gather more information. If you are lucky, a second viewing of the entire video will refresh our memories of the diagnosis. I am only one person asking the favor, but I can tell you from experience, that almost all Content Providers in this field show closeups. I have a large laptop screen and we all need your help, this also refers to your other videos and other scanners. Some shots here were fine, cheers. If you have time as it seems that you do, its always nice to see the same tests after a car is fixed, for this job, based on my poor memory, an incylinder but running now, scan data of the MAF and fuel trims and O2s, etc would be nice please. Thanks for your videos, pretty good IMHO based on the ones I have watched since I found your channel. NOV 2022, you are holding at a study 66%, 48 videos shown 32 videos useful to an experienced tech, IMHO. We all know you cannot cherry pick as you need videos to get paid, no worries, you are higher up my scale than some very well known guys, no worries.
BRO, what is that red thing near the battery with positive terminals and cables all over it? Aftermarket junk? Thanks for showing that even Independent shops don't know what they are doing, not only Stealerships, cheers.
Another test is to make sure the blower motor isn’t drawing too many amps, which may be enough to blow your resistor (over time) but may not be high enough to blow a fuse.
After all these great instructions and attempts, please make sure the connection on your battery are good. Even as far as disconnect the negative and reconnect it. Hopefully you will hear the car turn on, somehow. Good luck.
Thank you for the excellent video and great instruction! Have done several in the past, and my 2013 Elantra GT has got 210K miles on the original clutch without any problem. Time to change as its coming in higher that it should be. Seems that lining up the subframe when reinstalling might be a bit of a trick on jack stands. Have two floor jacks and a pallet jack on my tractor that may help. Have the transmission adapter for one of the floor jacks. Elantra has been a true gem, as until I recently replaced the headlights in 2024 due to sun damage, I've had < $100 in parts for this other than normal maintenance items. Nice job, and much appreciated.
I got the trailer brake message and days later I got a power steering message. The ground strap to the frame was corroded and all the messages were related. A new ground strap and nothing needed to be fixed. Just a heads up to trouble shooters.
Thanks for this. Did mine on the weekend (2015 sx) without issue as a result of this education. I can confirm the unit and AWD is working, unfortunately the warning light on the instrument cluster is still lit up. Anyone know what the deal is with that? Had it checked with a scan tool and could not clear the error. At one point it seemed I was cleared, but the light came back on right after. Connections are good and as I say, it works.
Do not try to program a key for that vehicle as it may brick the back of ECU. I truly suggest bringing it to the dealership for this model vehicles. Even professional lock smiths will not warranty this job as there are issues while programming the key
Thanks a lot bro one more question last week i was trying to add a new smart key after market for my infinity m45 2006. But i couldnt program it and now my the unlock anD lock buttom are not working i did everything to program the fob nothing worked. I just need your. Help please
Hi! How to reprogram a bcm to remove code u1000 u3000? (Ranger 2016, headlights issue). Ford wants me to change the module but I’ve seen it can just be reprogrammed.. no one does it where I live. Thought of learning to do it. Thank you in advance.
