You might have loosened that screw with a single whack ! Simply twist the tool slightly CLOCKWISE (in the OPPOSITE direction you want the screw to turn) just before smacking the tool. This takes a bit of spring-loaded rotational slack out of the tool head so that the tool doesn't have to take that slack out before actually trying to turn the screw.
Thank you!! To no avail, I've been trying to get one of my guy friends over to change my faucet knobs. Frustrated, i pulled up several videos and found yours the most helpful. It took me all of 5 minutes. I guess you're my new boo! LOL
These methods may kill some wasps but the idea they will eliminate a nest is ludicrous. Best method I have used is shop vac put at entrance with soapy water in the shop vac. Thanks for going through the process of really showing what happens.
Sorry man, but you really didn’t understand what was occurring and what the process entails. You also didn’t follow the instructions very well. Still came out decent but the results could have been much better.
Is this effective for a car without a thermostat? I notice some mechs in my part of the world who remove the thermostat also set the fan to run continuously. it does mean the engine runs cold. im wondering if setting the fan back to factory solves this problem.
Owning my own series of owner operator of 2 muscle car speed shops and 2 warranty and repair work. If the tie rod is being replaced then there’s simpler ways to do this, fast and safe. Cut the threaded part off flush with the bottom (or top) then use a pneumatic hammer with a straight bit and pound it out 5-10x faster. If you don’t have a pneumatic “hammer” use a small propane torch if you have one to expand around the ball joint insert use a hammer and tap the outside and around and use the nut and and. A heavy hammer hit it HARD!!!!! Or heat it up use a jack under it and try raising the jack to pop it out. Use a lot of heat if rusty (ALSO BUST THE LOCKING NUT LOSE FIRST AND ONCE OUT COUNT THE TURNS IT TAKES TO GET THE TIEROD END OUT THEN MEASURE THE NEW ONE IF THE THREADS AND EVERYTHING IS THE SAME LENGTH THEN TURN THE NEW ONE IN THE SAME NUMBER OF TURNS SO YOUR FRINT WHEEL IS AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE OPD ONE AND TAKE IT FOR AN ALIGNMENT. Or I just measure the length before hand and turn the new rod in until it hits that measurement.) happy Mechanicing everyone!
We grew weary of expensive traps that trapped maybe 1 wasp per $ invested. We discovered a very effective method that is cheap and needs dumping (nightly). Take 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar ... stir and put in an open container about an inch deep. It's fall at time of this, not sure it would work in spring when wasps go for protein more than sweet stuff...might then have to put a hunk of meat in the bucket.
I am a single female and cannot afford a plumber. I'm learning how to do a lot of things by myself from RU-vid videos. I started recently having problems with a leaky handle in my bathtub your videos have been a wonderful help. Who needs and expensive plumber.. Not me!!!
I Have A Set Of These Wheels Size 17x7 I Believe, Bought Em From A Junk Yard For My Car (04 Hyundai XG350), Had A Few Scratches And Minor Chips In Them Nothing Repair Paint Can’t Fix. Glad I Came Across This Video.
I just did my 2013 chrysler 200, loosen the top brake line nut FIRST, than used the claw end of my hammer to pop the clip out. Vice grips can also hold the bottom of the old hose if necessary. Be careful not to wring the bleeder valve off, its very delicate...
