Hey bro thanks so much, came across your channel, and I’ve been looking for better, cheap & appealing to the eye for packaging. And the thermal printer sounds great.
@@martymccollum7890 Yeah I think someone miss marked it when they listed it. That’s my only guess. I know at least 3 of us that got them for that $35 but they probably caught it pretty fast!
Man i just want to say thank you. I just started making my own baits about a year and half ago, and guys like you have made it more fun than I could imagine! I practically gave up all my hobbies but this and actually fish alot more. Thank you for sharing your recipes and I promise not to steal your names 😉
Awesome video and Thanks the for the recipes. I've just started out making for myself and this will help. Dont have many colors but gives me ideas of how to use what i have. Thank you.
@@lastswimcustoms I heard he wants to retire. I’ve bought several of all the special ones I can find. Maybe if you are interested, check Zeiner. They have more than most
I haven’t tried it, I’ve been pretty happy with the 242 so far so haven’t tried much else but definitely will keep that in mind I order any dead on! Thank you!
Ive tried red label. You get a gallon for less than $40! And it seems to be a really good plastic but it does get bubbly if you get it too hot. Get it to temp kinda slow and it seems great, looks great, and ITS A GALLON FOR LESS THAN $40!! It’s too good a deal for just the hobbyist, it’s my fav.
@@seanschreiber657 Bait plastics is 46 a gallon or I believe 31 per gallon in a 5 gallon bucket. Price is pretty comparable. Just comes down to what you feel works the best for you. I like the DOP black sinking and the 242. Also whatever sales are on can push me one way or another. Oh also DOP is the fastest shipper I use got to love that
Hows the action of that frog? I have the angling ai AR frog but its not heavy enough for me? Its a decent frog but im looking for heavier for more noise.
I think this would be really ideal for the buzzbait frog. It’s got a good action with the medium blend but could definitely use a little stiffer blend as well.
@@TobysfishingNoutdoors Hey buddy, our email is in the description. I’m not really doing sponsorships at the current time though. Just have a lot on my plate already and don’t think I could do them very effectively at this time.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you after you sent me some baits to try. I like the design of the tail. It really works well on a drop shot rig. It really can be made to vibrate. I also used it as a charterbait trailer. Again, the tail was very, very active. Hopefully, I will get to use them more once the fall feeding start to pick up.
I think that the cheater was moving a bit better, the tail was shaking very nicely! What other rig would you suggest for this? I do a lot of perch fishing, here in Europe, and I think it would do good nose hooked on drop-shot!
@@Marcuccioperca it could definitely be used on a dropshot rig. I prefer Dimiki style like on the video or using it as a trailer on a Zman Jackhammer. I’d like to see someone try jerking it soft fluke style!
@@lastswimcustomscool if they're not durable then I was mistaken, mine are in the car, and I haven't tried them yet, I got the white to match my jack hammer, I thought they were elastomer and that's why I bought them. I won't be buying more if they are not...FishOn
@@1jimif Yeah they are great for the Jackhammers but I usually end up having the hook rip through the back of the bait. Or the sunfish try to swallow the whole tail and end up ripping it off haha!
@@waltergurly4040 Yes sir, they are kinda pricey but it beats me having to go to bass pro and pick up freeloaders all the time. Plus anything that keeps me out of bass pro saves my wallet a lot of money in the long run haha!
@@nickkalisek8463 These are custom built freestyles using a 4/0 Gamakatsu hook! Those hooks are insanely sharp and really help with keeping the fish pinned! I’m sure the VMC heads would also work!
Nice machining good looking bait . but man that price made my butthole pucker .. I picked up an angling ai 5 inch coreshot stick 3.5 core shot phantom grub 4 inch grub along with a 6oz lureworks injector 20 mins from the house for $260 and picked up another 5 inch core shot for under $90 shipped on offerup
