nothing cheap about the grimmer and 1'st comics were great it's odd that they haven't made a movie about the badger it's kind of where marvel copied the wild personality for dead pool but grim jack , american flagg , jon sable freelance ,scout and the badger were some of the best art and great non mainstream storytelling was a happening thing
I’m 23 and I’ve been collecting Archie Comics since I was about 9. There’s just something so satisfying about the classic art style, from DeCarlo to Ruiz to Kennedy Bros. Archie Horror is cool, but I feel like it would be way cooler and unique if it was done in the classic in-house style like Archie Vs. Predator. Even Riverdale captured the zany nature of the various genres Archie has done imo.
I like the short boxes as well. You collect for the fun and enjoyment of the hobby. @KJ’s Porch Puppy Comics. God bless you my friend. The feel and the smell, yes sir!!
I picked up that one as well. She was a disappointment

Just know that most famous musicians were pretty talented but they only got as far as they did because they had high ranking military or political parents. Jim Morrison lied about his father when in fact his father was the one who lied about what happened in the gulf of Tonkin that pushed us into the Vietnam war. Dave grohls dad was the speach writer for Ronald Reagan. The Grateful Dead worked with the cia to dose people with lsd at their concerts and then abduct them for mk ultra experiments. Music is great, the ones they push for people to idolize are evil to say the least. Keep up the hard work and keep your head on straight. I’m a former touring musician who quit once I saw how this industry truly is.
I’ve never wanted anything to do with the music industry. Or internet fame for that matter. I like making my little videos from home and working an honest job.
You might base a character after Dwight in either shadowrun or cyberpunk, however the ad was for dungeons and dragons which generally isn't like that.😅
Interesting. Looks like you're missing the earlier issues which feature the cool designed woman in costume you showed at the end of the issue presented in black and white.
I have no idea why they called that one character Demon. He looks nothing like a demon, nor does he act like one. He looks like a swashbuckler or Cyclops' father Corsair.
Nope those backgrounds are as stle as rye bread dried over weeks. The colors dont give it any compliment. I rather read old ultraverse when they were called Malibu which oddly you never showcase. The Ferret, Mortal kombat, the Nocturnals, ect. Maybe dwelve more into those oddities.
Some of the stuff you talked concerning your local comics shop in this video practically sent me into a rant, but I calmed down . Guaranteed both Mark and Steph are working themselves to early graves with the workload they're under. I know that Bill Black, despite being retired, is continuing to assist them in the background and I've even started to assist Bill when he gets backlogged. You aren't wrong when you commented on the love and passion that some creators have for certain things that spur them onward in spite of overwhelming obstacles.
The frustration of trying to get AC comics period has been difficult and expensive. Distribution of comics has been broken for years now. Diamond monopoly bs
You'd be surprised by some of the "big names" that worked for AC Comics before they became big names, you might also be surprised at how many "big names" did work for AC Comics WHILE they were big names just because Bill Black is such a darned cool guy to work for. Now what you may or may not be aware of is Nedor's "The Black Terror" who debuted in Exciting Comics #9 in 1941 is one of those public domain characters that EVERYONE wanted to use and were more than willing to stir up as much legal trouble as they could to put knots in Bill Black's shorts because he was the first publisher to lay claim to the character in print form long after the original (Nedor) owner stopped. Thus how he became known at AC as "The Terrorist". I know that I wanted to use him in my Rad Mini-series and had many fun conversations with Bill concerning his "official" name since if you go through the vast number of times he shows up in an AC book he is almost always referred to by some variation of The Black Terror although not specifically TBT. I eventually poked a bit of fun at this within the Rad story. And just so you know, I took a break from pencilling a new Femforce cover (first one in 20 years) to like and comment for your algorithm as well as your edification. 😁
You’re doing a new Femforce cover?! That warms my heart, Sir. I can’t wait to see it! I and my algorithm are always blessed by your comment and inside scoops on the Good old AC
Think the concept of prime kissing that girl was innocence. This little girl i knew at a trailer park used to walk by my house and show me her swimsuits. Im not gonna lie i was single but thought she was a delightful good girl. Her innocence intrigued me cause she saw nothing wrong with showing me how pretty she looked in her new bikinis. Art is a standard point of view. We hate barry windsor but ive actually heard praise from channels saying his weapon x stuff was marvelous.
I feel like it wasn’t intended totally innocent. Kelly was clearly shocked and I think that’s a strong cue that we the readers were to be shocked as well. Ultraverse does this often and I’m not sure how to feel about it. It feels to often to be an accident. BWS work on weapon x looked just a gross as rune.
