sick chair ride. you shred the chair. and eitherput you pole straps on, or take them off. nothing says beater better than not knowing how to use your sticks properly.
Haven’t been skiing before, why would snow which you can’t judge the depth of be superior to the tracks you see nearby which already tested it? Do you go faster or something
The tracked snow is more compacted so it feels firmer. The fresh snow is really soft and light so it feels like you’re weightless and quite an amazing feeling. It feels like you’re floating on clouds!
You make the same mistake I made until a Swiss ski teacher pointed it out to me. You ski powder like skiing slalom gates! Open your hands like the thumbs are facing down the slope. This will stabilize your upper body and make everything look and feel way easier!
@@whoisthe1412 172cm, for reference I’m 5’9 around 145 lbs. I can charge them on groomers at 70mph and still feel stable. I’ve demoed the 180s and they felt long in the trees but would give more float. I have a wider ski for powder though, the new Rustler 11s
Great spot for a midmorning break from the crowds and the tracked up terrain elsewhere! Often overlooked because the lines are too steep for beginners and too short for advanced skiers. I've had some memorable runs in that terrain over the years.
