Quick weight shifts are amplified on that off-camber turn. You want to be slow & tight into 14 then feed in gradually as you approach the apex of 15 to carry speed into the main straight. Smooth out the inputs and it won't bite you like that.
Damn! Great lap until then yep. Love the data at the bottom, very nice setup. Was it the braking that upset the car a bit too much? Looks like you went from 70 down to 50 and under in a flash right as the car lost grip. Haven’t had my first track day yet. C5Z also.
@@Ranguvar13 the data is a combination of recording video on my phone with TrackAddict, while attached to the car on a Ram mount, and getting pedal data from a Veepeak BLE Bluetooth device plugged into ODB2. I think the spin was a combination of a few things. I dove the Miata too hard thinking I could power by him and took a bad line. This put me into some rubber to the left off of my normal line. Yes, I started braking too hard because the next part of the corner is off camber which I think greatly contributed to the spin, if I had rolled throttle on lightly I kind of wonder if the car would have stuck. Over-slowing is a real problem for me. My car is a 97 base with some mods, nothing too crazy. They’re a blast, hope you get out there and enjoy it. Wonderful platform for track.
I need to get it in the notes lol. Im currently recording on an iPhone 13 Pro with the TrackAddict app. Data logging comes from a VeePeak OBDCheck BLE+ adapter that connects to the OBD port on the car and Bluetooth to the phone. It works at our autocross events as well, but you don’t have track data quite as nice as being on a track.
@@Kaubs More data seems useful, although I'm interested in something that can let me compare my laps at the autocross as well. I'll have to check it out at the end of the month :)

I think the GTR can be the fastest with the right driver can make it fly around the track... I would buy GTR and bang for your buck hands down, maybe one day down the road get one
