No mods (on Xbox). In the shop you have to be looking at the guns you want to buy. There should be a button prompt to buy attachments. It’s either “X” or “Y”. Square or triangle on PlayStation

Thats an interesting one... 3 rings are aomewhat rare and it might be impossible to scan due to distance, crashing into it may ne the only way... that said it looks like it would be extremely thin from the graphic and any structure that puts holes in it might mean its mostly luck. The other way might be to fly at the region you think has the ring and kinda scan across it with the nose if your ship keeping an eye out for an impact notification... Certainly an odd one!!!
I thought about the “thin” idea too. It does cover a massive amount of space, but the mass of it is extremely large (according to the data description)
Just thinking about it now, that last time when I was in the correct part of space, the music sounded like it does when your in a ring. Even had the crunching ice sound once in a while. I thought it was a combination of my engines and my mind wanting the rings to appear lol. What I didn’t do was drop out of Supercruise. Maybe Elite:Dangerous wasn’t designed to render in such a large third ring
To bad Disney wiped EVERYTHING when they took over in 2013. Many things had to be gotten rid of, I know that. But they should have kept a lot of the later stuff. Especially in eras that they weren’t planning on going to in the near future.
They could have just gotten rid of the Post ROTJ stuff and kept everything else. I mean come on, how does KOTOR 1 and 2, SWTOR, the Bane Trilogy, and other Old Republic stuff even affect the New Trilogy? that's what pissed me off the most about them throwing out the Old EU.
Ironinquisitor; I agree 100% with the Old Republic stuff. I have two problems with them though. 1) The Old Republic should’ve been ported to the consoles. 2) In KotOR2; I would’ve liked to be told prior to playing it, that the canon character was a female.
