Great review. So just to be clear this renewal version DOES COME WITH THE SNEAKERS & HANDS THAT HAVE THE MAGNETS IN THEM???? Cause on Big Bad Toy Store, it doesn't mention that it comes with the magnetic hands & shoes, which i wanted. So are you saying it's identical to the original Mafex release?? just pop his arms off i removed mine to replace his hard shell coat with a softgoods one and dont forget the little black bag with his other pistol in it

Well.. They've aimed for a more seamless look imo. It's not bad, he's a little more buffed, but some range of articulation was lost. I keep my figures in a statue like pose, so for me it's better like this, but I feel what you mean.
..for cons: - I've been also asking that question regarding the back extension but little ab crunch, and I've seen that they placed the ball joint socket more in front than in the back of the upper body, that's why it's limited..I have found a way to provide more ab crunch (which is in my Stealth suit mod video) - irritating shield straps thingies..I also made a mod of that (also in my Stealth suit mod video)
I won the lottery with the first release, it didn't have any Qc issues with the joints, but the wrist pegs really bothers me, so I plan to sell it and get the reissue one, since it replaced the pegs with balI joints, I wish I'll also get lucky this time
Thank you! Yeah, it looks skinny. The mafex manniple head also looks like a tad big for the figure. Imo mezco with the manniple kit looks much better than the mafex Ver.

Thank God I saw your review, I had ordered him as I really like Deathstroke, Ive Got the Mezco, Mcfarlane and Revoltech ones and thought this one would be great as I missed the 1st issue, but loed this looks absolutely terrible. I decided to buy some pain t and accessories and elevate the $20 Mcfarlane one and it looks amazing. I'd have been quite upset if I bought this shyte.
This happened to me, it doesn't mean that it's a general issue. However, in my collecting experience, it might be something else, maybe the other knee, maybe a hip joint, maybe an elbow. Usually qc issues like this means sloppy work. Take MAFEX for Mezco for example, or amazing Yamaguchi. There are entire lines of figure with a wide variety of qc issues:bicep swivel stuck or too lose on mezco conan the barbarian, or mafex jl flash, sloppy paint work on dome mafex reissues.
I just bought it to own a Guts with out full armor, but to tell you the truth, I'm most likely going to try and sell it. It looks like a cheap knock off. The paint job on the face is really bad, and that's mainly the reason I got it. The tattoo is beautiful, but the face looks like I've ordered it from Aliexpress.
@@ZenReviewZfigma version is really good. Little dated articulation and the cape is bad, but the figure is really good quality. I have the Figma black swordsman and it was my favorite figure before I got the shf berserker armor figure
@@noahwright3519 my gripe with figma is the size. I mostly collect Mezcos, Mafex and Yamaguchies atm and Figmas are really small. I hope Yamaguchi or Mezco makes a Guts, that would be awesome. If mezco would do it, probably they will f. up something, I'm absolutely sure, but the accessories would be insane.
Mine did not came loose, but the weight sometimes, and the way they're engineered makes the joints come off from the socket, which is really annoying. But it's a great figure no doubt.
I'm pretty sure it's the reissue, cause I've bought it from hobbygenki.com and they are as legit as it comes. I think you can also find it on plazajapan.com, but buy it only if you really want a Guts version in your collection. It has a lot of minuses for a "reissue"
Both 😂😂. Both of them are really cool versions of the characters. I think the Mezco flash is my favourite, but, the yamaguchi is a more modern interpretation, so you're safe with both Flash, if you decide to have them. The reverse flash however, that's a different story, I think it's the best out there. It's up to you how you pull the trigger.
I was hoping they would basically put in all the improvements the Heat of Passion version had, alas it doesn't seem like it, looks like they just fixed the wrists and called it a day.
The next piece the keeps coming off has a hook for you to put the cape in, very disappointed that's he's still as loose as the first release. At least the wrists stay on better
the first one had the hand constantly fall off, it wasn't a ball peg instead a friction hold, many people disliked it but nothing a little moding couldnt fix, this time around the hand actually stays on, but of course the figure cant actually carry the weight of the dragonslayer, its too hevay which is my personal complaint
