That's a clever rendition of this great old standard. I've been watching old What's my Line shows and Julie London appeared, so I looked her up here in RU-vid. She was born in Santa Rosa north of San Francisco, so that makes her even more intriguing.
Está música é uma que me lembra do filme ...com Harrison Ford...filme *A TESTEMUNHA*.. WITNES....que se passa no celeiro ele Harrison com uma atriz....
If Unca Elvis didn't color his hair, he'd look like Billy Fury😎🤘. If Billy's voice would have matured like Elvis's did...Good God!!!! The Operatic era of Billy Fury.
*lyrics* Well it's been building up inside of me For oh I don't know how long I don't know why But I keep thinking Something's bound to go wrong But she looks in my eyes And makes me realize And she says "don't worry, baby" Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Everything will turn out alright Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby I guess I should've kept my mouth shut When I started to brag about my car But I can't back down now because I pushed the other guys too far She makes me come alive And makes me wanna drive When she says "don't worry, baby" Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Everything will turn out alright Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby She told me "Baby, when you race today Just take along my love with you And if you knew how much I loved you Baby, nothing could go wrong with you" Oh what she does to me When she makes love to me And she says "don't worry, baby" Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Everything will turn out alright Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby Don't worry, baby
There are no words that could accurately describe how much I love this song. Easily one of my top five all time favorite songs. As soon as that beat drops and then those ethereal harmonies come rushing in… it’s just pure unadulterated euphoria. Takes me to another place. A place I never want to leave. I grew up from early childhood listening to The Beach Boys, and must have heard this one well over a million times, but it has never once lost its ability to give me goosebumps and practically bring me to my knees with its stunning beauty. Many have claimed that this is one of the greatest songs ever written, and Brian Wilson himself once said that this is the all time greatest Beach Boys song. Written for Ronnie Spector and subsequently rejected by Phil Spector. Such petty short-sightedness on Phil’s part… but it’s those Wilson brothers harmonies that really make this special, so it all worked out well. My wife and I had this played for our wedding dance, and they’ll definitely be playing it at my funeral.
Seeing @ the end of " Hammer", the upright bassist playing, I suspect this is Trini's first overseas trip, in this case Holland, middleish or slightly later than that 1963. Mickey Jones, in his book describes this, he, Trini,& his manager George " Bullets " Durgom. David Shriver had probably recently come in on electric bass guitar, but there was not enough money for him too to go. Mickey Jones describes feeling bad about it,as Dave see's them off,& driving away in his Jaguar. Mickey's book " That Would Be Me", is great,& truthful reading, covering many things
Also to be noted, Mickey's drums are Premier Drums, then manufactured in the UK so probably supplied for this Holland? gig. But yes, that's a hired bassist.
I’m 16 years old and my mom and dad listened to a lot of stuff from the 50s-70s to blues and rock and roll and my mother dosent think I belong in the genoration at all because I wear clothes straight out from those decades and listen to the music as well. LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL
