I've just found your channel. Enjoyed the portable 2m/70cm antenna you showed and I came to your main page to see if you had a video showing the build of the antenna itself and I see you've had a stroke. I watched your first video from after this happened and I can say that I am happy to see in this video that you are looking looking better. I trust your recovery is going well and hope to see you back on your feet. I am now off to look through your other videos. Rest up. Get well. Good wishes and prayers to you. 73!
That looks fantastic! Thanks so much! I’ll sketch out what it seems but out of curiosity, did you build for the telescopic pole or the reverse? Never worked with one before, just curious! All the best! 73 de KJ5DVL
No Comments or likes FFS. Sorted. Good to see you making progress Paul. Just remember it's going to be a marathon not a sprint, there'll be good days and some not so good. But every day you're alive is better than the alternative, no matter how it might seem at the time. Just keep plugging away mate. All the best.
It’s going to be a long, long process Paul, try and stay as positive as you can, you have lots of friends who will be willing to help where they can. You’ve got this, ❤ ❤
I'd have gone for Jacques Loussier's jazzy Air on the G String, though it may have caused an outbreak of cigar smoking, or made the viewer think the antenna wouldn't work, or something.
Hi Paul. Almost finished my portable aerial. Different design to yours as used material laying around in garage. Scrap stuff. 4 Part video. Cheers from old George.
Technician just beginning here. Thanks for this design. Since my HOA frowns upon almost everything, I'm considering your design not for field work, but just to avoid confrontation with them. 73 de HJ4JPG.
Thank you so much sir,,, it s a great presentation,,, i love d idea that it can used in a quick installation and almost anywhere,,, and m planning to build 1, however in my case, would it b better if 2 or more stacked dipole b phased together?
A nifty design, but no balun? As I understand, you might well have great swr, but radiating signal down the coax, putting less out if the antenna. New amateur here so constructive criticism welcome.
