IKR! People had called me old fashioned because I use Dial soap. Yes, and when in the shower I use it 1st then my bodywash, then the exfoliating gloves with bodywash, then an all over wash again with washcloth... rinse well, then use Jergen's wet skin...WHEW! I'm tired just thinking about it! But I feel so good afterwards. ❤

I’m not black, but I love the beauty of black hair and watching how it’s styled. The tools are different and I love watching the processes. Her hair is absolutely stunning and she looks so happy!😊❤
70 year old woman. Retirement home had black stylist I am white but decided to give it a try. Now every where I go everyone loves my hair now. Like strangers coming up to me in stores. Where was she when I was young. Probably not born. I will never go to anyone else!
Try treating her scalp with an anti fungal and have her stop using relaxers and any harsh chemmicals. An otc antifungal is myconazole, basically yeast infection cream, and yes its okay to use it on scalp skin. Another option is ketoconzole shampoo, you can get nizoral shampoo 1% otc or the 2% with perscription. Her dermatitis will go away. Have her make sure to not sleep with wet hair and with your treatments she'll never get it again.
I think those options work slightly but are super drying. Personally I have terrible eczema when pregnant. I got prescription antifungals shampoo you mentioned, but as a body wash per my Dr orders and they provided me some relief. But my skin was so dry after. I used shea butter, lotions prescription and like advanced moisturizer Dr recommended. Nothing worked but coal tar soap. It cleared everything up in 1 wash. My children's father has dermatitis on his scalp and he also tried the antifungals you recommended that his Dr prescribed. It did little to nothing for him. He usually manages it with sulfur shampoo or anti dandruff shampoo not sure the active ingredient for that particular one he used but he consistently uses sulfur 8 hair grease. It's the only thing that works and it also helps his hair grow super long. But I don't really recommend any hard exfoliating it makes the skin just grow more in my opinion. But it could work for someone else I'm sure.

LOL gave me flashbacks when I used to do my daughter's hair and she has long hair between washing detangling flattening out and then put it in braids just so it's manageable for a week.nice job
I can feel your pain I used to get in trouble for doing good work that took time it’s very annoying how people want things done fast but it really comes down to taking your time to have it done right
You should have gotten an award for what you did! You did an awesome & epic job on this girl’s hair. Customer for life! I’m not one to cry about bad hair cause I just feel it will grow back and my hair grows way too fast! Plus now, with RU-vid, I do my own hair. I love to cut & dye my own hair. It’s like a new adventure each time. My last cut was the wolf cut, then I bleached it and dyed it teal. Love it, but now you can already see the grow out. It doesn’t bother me. I’ll let it grow out then cut it again. I do my son’s hair too. Usually buzz nowadays but before buzz days, I cut it short. The only time he complained is when HE chose the attachment and after done, he felt it was too short and because of this, he missed his brother’s wedding & blamed me.
