Offroad yes. All advantages are evened out. But on roads like this and with much more powerful low-end and mid-range on the 1100, no chance for the old girl lol.
For sure I enjoyed a bike so modern and fresh but the suspension is rather soft on the new one compared to my aftermarket setup. Also the old one has more character and personality - maybe it's my bias haha. Thanks for watching Bud. Off to Addis tomorrow whoop whoop.

@@andreaskanarios9000 hello bro. Yss shock in the back with a stiffer spring because I'm 100kg. And in front I have hyperpro progressive springs with 15w fork oil. I also have risers in front so the bike is a LOT taller
@@dockingtroll6801 it's a LIDL magnetic tank bag. Ultimate Speed. Had it for over 10 years and realised I could just ziptie it to the tail rack and use it this way.

@@simonndaula828 shinkos look extremely capable. Never had them tho. I keep searching for the perfect tyre combo for how I ride. Need to see how long this motoz will last before deciding if this is the best.
@@BeanzBob You should try them out. Came with my Bike, previous owner used to ride in the desert in Saudi. I did use them offroad here as well, boy do they inspire a lot of confidence. I found them better than mitas that I had on my old xt600e
@@simonndaula828 I've never seen any dealer in Europe sell them. I think the motoz desert HT is shinko-like. May try those some time if I really want hardcore knobblies. Say I do a rally or something. There's also Michelin trackers which I have on the xr600.

Sure the do check out the bike/honda a young John Conner is riding in Terminator 2.....like we wouldn't notice.....maybe it's just prototype silencer to make a bike sound like a two stroke....I want one
Great vid...although I fully agree it is important to be able to hear then engine, when riding around, but I dont have an exhaust fetish, thus this is way too overpowering for me, I would prefer it toned down.. cheers
Thanks man. You are right. I used the XR600 cos of its snarly exhaust and purposely left the volume high on the editing to support the theme of the video. But on longer videos where I will be recording my voice I will normalize the volume. Thanks for your comment and support.
@@Geff1967 I'd love a shimmering chrome infused jacket.. Hahaha.. seriously tho this is the Leatt X-FLOW enduro jacket. It's fantastic for hot weather riding. It's my helmet that needs changing to a much more vented one. My head was cooking.
