Nevermind the last question, should've known FDEZ has that covered too with an additional charge. Looks like with the discount, the recoil assembly is basically free anyway.
Ha, idk man that’s just how it is but I appreciate it. The grip has a different feel to it but it doesn’t have a larger overall size. You might like the FDez Werx back straps, one might give you a fuller feel in the hand. Check out my review on them ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5FZfIk1PjSo.htmlsi=AJVTSRy3Cz0KGHs5
Gx4 is a great gun. I usually swap between it and a mako R7 in the summer time. Coincidentally I’m picking up the GX4 Carry model from my FFL tomorrow so excited to test it out. I had been eyeing it since I like the micro model so much
I ordered mine from the Wilson Combat website, I was looking there yesterday and it was out of stock but you may be able to find it at other online retailers.
I live in a 10 round mag capacity state. My best option was to buy the P365 Radian Afterburner+Ramjet when it dropped on August 27th. I had to buy a P365 3.1" slide and a DPM recoil system kit. I'll be using a Wilson Combat lower with Magguts +2 from one of my other P365XLs. 😁
@ShinaniGunz I noted in the video when you mentioned you'd like to have a 20 MOA circle only option on the EPS. That would be TERRIFIC. The one reticle I wish we could also get in an EPS is the Primary Arms ACSS Vulcan. I've been running the 507C with it on my Echelon, Staccato C2, and CS for a few months now. Something about having a Chevron in the window that's got a 1 MOA point at the top and a 10 MOA base circled by that huge 250 MOA outer ring that easily guides you back to center if you lose the Chevron in the window. It really takes things to a whole other level for me. I'd sure love for Holosun to hook up with the guys at Primary and give us an EPS option with it (in green of course). As a novice shooter it's the only reticle that lets me get fairly consistent hits inside the 7 ring at 75'. Would love to have this or that 20 MOA circle only option that you mentioned. ✌️
Dont worry, you got it down. Not suppose to be able to reach it. Some with big hands can reach it. And as you know some will tell you to sling shot it. But I use support hand to.
After training with it so much now it feels natural and it’s automatic. So much so that I’ve had reloads on striker fired pistols and went to drop the slide the same way recently 😂
If you're having trouble with the slide release triarc systems makes an extended slide release for the CS platform, I have on installed on mine and it works wonders brother!
@@ShinaniGunz I'm sure there are other companies out there that make extended slide releases... I actually haven't seen too many companies that make them to be honest I also didn't do an in-depth extended search for them but I will say that triarc systems extended slide release is built extremely well, it does need to be fitted to the weapon itself It's not a straight drop in part but if and when done correctly it is absolute money 🤌🏼🔥💰💵👌🏼👍🏼 there's no more having to sort of search for the release or if you have somewhat smaller stubby your fingers like me You don't have to sort of release your grip and then rotate your thumb around and also the weapon in order to reach it/ get a good purchase on the release to actuate it... The triarc systems extended release is right there where you want it and it actually gives you more leverage on the release, because of its extended nature obviously. I would definitely give it a try for sure because I was having very similar problems as you stated in the video as far as kind of finding it and getting to it quickly. You might even have to sand\file the very top of your grip module the very slightest bit as well I did, although I probably didn't have to I did just because I wanted that extra little bit of clearance so I knew that there was absolutely nothing that it could get hung up on and I'm pretty sure they designed it to clear but I wanted to be extra sure. But after a bit of filing and fitting and checking and rechecking It works even better than stock in my opinion. You also will have to file or grind the pin a bit as it is longer than stock (The pin that you'll actually push in order to take out the slide release and/or remove the slide from the weapon) I believe you can order it in the white so you can fit it to the weapon and then have it sent off to be coated in whatever finish you like or you can also order it already pre-coated.
I wonder how this compares to the NEW radian components. Any thoughts? I have this FDEZ set up and it nice. The only downside is, i blacks out you front sites, so don’t spend any extra money on that part cause after about 3 shots they are completely black.
True! That is one thing I did forget to mention is the consequences of the powder and gases coming out of the ports. I’m gonna find out how the radian compares as soon as I can get my hands on the 3.7” version! I have one on a not a glock build I did and it works incredibly well.
Have the g43x already. Definitely going to purchase the af1911s15 next and after its paces will become my new edc and the g43x will be quite literally tossed in the toolbox for redundancies.
I appreciate you bro 🤙🏼 If you like this one check out the last one I uploaded POV: WileyX Range Eye Protection Sunglasses ru-vid.comw7GfHFHbg04?feature=share
Yeah I really like it, I had the opportunity to do a full review on all three of their back straps and the #2 was my preferred option. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5FZfIk1PjSo.htmlsi=Uq6slhwvcFsCy-pH
I’d really love to know how you managed to shot 1000 rounds “through the optic.” I would definitely be interested in how this works as I will not have to purchase a gun to go with the optic. Please let me know when you get the chance! Thank you!
@@ShinaniGunz I have a smith&wesson performance center shield with fiber optic sights and rmr ready with ported barrel 4" that's my edc it came with a cleaning kit and a crimson trace red dot.
A tip for the reload: Instead of grabbing the mag, make an L-Shape with your off hand and swipe your hand along the trigger guard. Tends to simplify things IMO since you're not looking for the release paddle, and the momentum can be used to grab the new mag
@@ShinaniGunz Yeah it's a different beast. A faster method is grabbing the new mag, using your thumb to sweep along the trigger guard to hit the old mag out. Less movement, less momentum since you're not relying on the mag (and more reliable since the mag can miss the catch but your thumb won't), just takes time to master it. I'd advise looking ad vids from Polenar Tactical, Klayco47, Regular Guy Training and Travis Haley as they're all supremely proficient with the platform
I mean…for $250 it’s better than a hi-point. But I have a lot of testing to do. The original GX4 was a beast and held up well so I have high expectations for this but I need to run more ammo through it. It was a great little shooter for the few mags I have put through it though.
@brilliantmind5946 something budget friendly that I can recommend with full confidence is the CZ P10c or P10s. You can find great deals on Caniks too that could fit within a budget.
I think the legion has some slightly better contouring but overall it has a nice hand feel. If you wanted a metal grip that was a bit smaller than the Legion AXG XMacro this would be a solid choice and very comparable.
